i want to know does hyundai Getz use injection or carb engine?

injection=less FC, latest technology
carb=high FC, old technology

coze from what i know injection engine have "i" code in its name..
i search at mudah n found Hyundai Getz 1.4"GL" auto year 08 only instead 1.4"GLi"

like wira wif injection engine u can see proton wira "exi" or "GLi"

not necessary... my family's old proton saga 1.5GLi also got 'i' behind... its a carburetor engine...
it turns out that 'i' stands for istimewa... doh.gif

all hyundai getz model EFI..the GL, GLA, GLI refer to different specs of fiitting and equipment only (though not much)

orait..then how to know if that car use carb or injection?
i did downlod hyundai getz brochure but it not mention about engine use injection or what..

for example this 2005 getz, the rectangular silver thingy behind the engine and infront of the windscreen is the intake manifold, you can see theres a big plastic hose connecting to the black box where the air filter is.

All Efi cars got a throttle body instead of a carb, which can be seen where the intake manifold connects to the pipe there (also silver color, got slightly square shape). smile.gif hope this helps

no need..it's confirm efi..I still own a 2004 getz. Nice car for daily chores..till now still smooth and no vibrations or loose screw like P****n

Nowadays, everyone has moved to the EFI route. Even Proton and Perodua now uses EFI. However, some American muscle cars still uses carb - easier to tune for many old timers.

american muscle cars are old cars...
newer muscle cars such as the new camaro already using fuel injection engine...
