200 ms is very good for wow US, usually with tunneling services. But i doubt u can get 200ms consistently with wow US, u will usually get spike here and there, especially when dungeon / raid time.

Im sorry for u and i have been through the same dilemma as u. And nothing much u can do about it, maybe u want to try the Unifi service by TM.

To the TS, if u knew mandarin, one of the way is to go for wowtaiwan as suggested by Deimos, which i am getting 100 ms averagely.

WOWtaiwan is simply the Most cost effective and best latency for WOW in Malaysia

After playing both wow US and wow Taiwan,



I understand the dilemma of many who dont understand mandarin, (which i do understand, but i prefer English, since that is what i am using daily, and having trouble interpreting Chinese words as fast as English).

What i am suggesting is, if we have enough of our own gamers even in wowtaiwan, the language problem will be minimize since gamers can actually get things accomplish without depending to PUG / trade. (English client to play wowtaiwan is one of the way)

That's sort like the project im working on with this guild in wowtaiwan. I'm trying to work on a English literate guild where even ppl who having problem with mandarin can actually enjoy wowtaiwan, with all its benefits (affordability and latency)

The nihao comment is just ppl misconception on wowtaiwan / wowchina, ppl exegerate and i dont see how wow US is anyway better than wowtaiwan in this regards. Gold seller is bound to exist in the game, in regardless of wowUS, EU, Tw or China.

And also, the nihao movie is suggesting the state of gold farmer in wowUS, so i dont see it in anyway related to wowtaiwan. Just because nihao is pinyin for Chinese word doesn't means it only happen in wowtaiwan. Gold farmer is everywhere.

U sure wow oceanic server and wowtaiwan server at the same place?

The last time i check wow oceanic is at US, and since i can connect to wowtaiwan at much much better latency, i would assume wowtaiwan is not at US? Im not computer geek and i might be wrong tho, feel free to correct me.

For me, latency is not the major problem, 300-400 ms in US with tunnel is definitely playable,

We can adjust our response to in sync the latency delay. Look at Malaysia dota scene, we are use to lag dota wheher online or ggclient

The major problem is the spike.

Malaysia ISP always suffer from spike illness when in a demanding environment, such as raid.

All pvp situation where, one simple spike will lose u the game.

Answer: Is to play wowtaiwan.

Although this will solve the latency problem, but then other problem arise. E.g. Language barrier, re-leveling etc
