Good info, there are a number of people who changed quite a number of these lights to LED versions (brighter ones) but there is a need to do a bit of coding. The usual ones they change to LED would be to add in LED lights to the door reflectors (when you open your door, the LED lights up). Good safety feature especially at night.

Sorry bro, don't own a GTI so can't really share the FC for it

Just got my car so can't really report on the FC. Will let you know once I hit 1,000km.

Currently, having too much fun to care about FC really hehehe. Anyways, was recommended that I take it slow (nothing above 3/4k RPM's unless I really have to) during my first 1,000km on the car and am determined to stick to that routine in order to run-in the engine properly.

Have got some mods in mind and will make sure that I post here to share with my fellow VW brothers. Mod quest ... here I come!

Dude, whats wrong with Golf's ICE? Didn't test on the TSI's ICE but GTI's ICE sounds OK to me.
But to my understanding, TSI's and GTI's ICE is same 

BTW, high rev NA engines like Type R's has bad FC. At least FD2R has better FC than the old B series VTECs.
