QUOTE(Mavik @ Apr 21 2011, 10:06 PM)
Off the line, the Polo should be able to beat them nicely but at top speed then the Civic and Inspira might have the edge there because of their larger capacity engines (looking at the 2.0 variants)

hmm.gif ... I would like to see the off the line test if got such chance, sounds interesting.

Depending on D or S mode... Stock form can get 8 - 8.5 secs... Top speed so far tested 236km/h only...

lately, few of my fd2r frens wanna let go their ride.... ur fd2 is it in stock condition when getting the top speed @ 236km/j....
*
Stock as I said, except I changed the pre-facelifted rims... That consider mod?

QUOTE(Mavik @ Apr 22 2011, 08:48 AM)
Yeah the FD2 should be able to achieve those speeds as well as 0-100 in those times. I used to drive an FD1 and even with the FD1 can achieve around 210km/h tongue.gif

But need to send the car to remove the limiter hehe
*
Yo bro mavik, I thought you got FD2 last time instead, but FD1 FC leader in its class.

Hmmm that's weird then... I travel to Putrajaya by MEX with FD2 at 120-140 speed also I get 14km/l overall when at 38 litre refuel by manual calculation.... sweat.gif

CTR really can reach that much meh?
there gear ratios are so short as for all honda type r cars...
they have good acceleration but i doubt they got top speed..

Added on April 22, 2011, 11:17 pm

wah bro u got yours already..
mine also tornado red only can collect next wednesday...
really cant wait hehe
*
Despite the short ratios, and although the digital speedometer limits at 263KM/H, the top speed is way beyond that. You need to experience in one before addressing such doubts for this one.

If bro Mavik could have seen the JC Racing SC-ed CTR too...

Handling wise, like bro jwrx said yeah... But do you believe actually with Stage 1, you will just on par? smile.gif

I am going for another round of test drive... This time bring my sist along primarily to let her feel and decide... While I go and double confirm the Golf suspension feeling, and also the audio quality...

No la bro.. just go asking details for my sister...

For me I need to think twice first cause of space, handling, as well as transmission... Although for many the handling is good enough...

QUOTE(stalkerrox @ May 2 2011, 12:06 AM)
yea i also hate this kind of attitude...
that day i went to test drive the lexus CT200H @ damansara the sales women very very powerful 1...
maybe also cause i was young so her attitude sucks too
lucky i've driven prius b4 so i roughly know how to drive it, same system in the CT200H

she "ASSUMES" i know how to drive it.. never even teach me anything.. never explain to me...
and and.. the best part is... u guys sure laugh like mad... she told me.. oh this car got sports mode...
when u put sports mode ur gauge will turn to RED... ( thats all she said )

i was like.. "HAHAHAHA oh really?" in my head =.=
wonderful saleswomen man... ask her some question about the car.. she doesnt even know...
i done some research and i think i even know more about the car than her...
*
Ya... Actually, almost all showrooms also got this kind of SA...

But the worst one I ever tried is Toyota...

Cause once I accompany my cousin go test Vios and City and compare... The Toyota SA said, VVT-i of coz better than i-VTEC... Cause we have 2 V(s)... I terus doh.gif and LMAO

If you want, I can always intro you to my SA at Wearnes Bangsar. Upfront, you would be more knowledgeable in terms of car knowledge but she is really helpful and she really goes out of her way to help me when I ordered my car last year.

Thanks for it... Will definitely need it when the time comes...

The 0.5% is attractive... But even got the chance, I hope GTI can have the suspension as stiff as the Civic Type R...
