let me noe how u do it
and how to check the update notification?
i tot is phone suddenly pop out say got update?
can u guide me?noobie on smartphone user here T_T

I have Skype installed already long time ago. Can't remember how I install it though. (Pretty sure it was from the web Market).

The update notification is one of the app. It is the pop-up one. Just use the LG Mobile update to update to the latest firmware. Download size is 100mb+.

haiz just plug my phone with pc using usb cable
dunno why the lg mobile support tool can't detect my phone
already try redownload n install the usb driver
but still can't detect
anyone can help ??
and i try use pc download the v10f firmware,is 124mb
haiz,hope all of you can help me solve this problem
if not use pc download the firmware and flasing it on phone ~~

mind if sumone cud help me..serch internet but not fully understand..i follow the step mentioned on 1st page but during the nand + ext back i received error message:

error run 'nandroid-mobile.sh' via adb

mind to know if im missing sumthing.. i follow exactly all the steps..until this step i stuck..thnx in advnce...

I had a similar problem, it wouldn't allow me to make a nandroid backup.

Try to back up all of your SD card content and make a partition with the custom recovery image. (partitioning would format your SD card)

After that, try to make a nandroid backup again.

so i just copy from computer everything inside my card n back it up..than i partition it using ur method..correct is it?

Yeeap... Then it should be okay.

just partitioned it n all of the menu i done..

chose nand + ext Backup again and received the same error

Well, that's weird... That fixed it for me. Did you set the ext2 partition as 512mb? The swap would be 0mb.

alrite, i somehow can upgrade to 10f. it showed the latest still is 10e...

tried but still in vain..any possibilities tht i miss any step or anything perhaps?

Update to V10F also, but it hanged halfway. Remove battery n it boots normally again. Version on phone showed V10E but when connected to LGMobileUpdate showed version V10F.

I called Msia LG Hotline just now. No V10F yet for Msian LG O1.
The V10F showed on LGMobileUpdate is meant for other countries.

Change the Language & Country to Malaysia and it should show the
correct latest version.

For Gingerbread 2.3 LG still waiting for approval of license from Google
then they can distribute to us

I try formatting my card by computer and repartion via phone by thunderg 1.1.0 and do the nand + ext back up but still got the same error.

i try to use nand backup and it works..issit any problem with my card or anything i skip before?

im using the v10c as provided on front page and using the emluator n flash provided at the same page too.

Download the skype.apk from mobile 9 then transfer to your phone.

Does anyone try to overclock their device and play angry birds? Any lagg? My phone damn lagg when playing games.

yes, i can update to version v10F, and the lg update tools show that my country is Malaysia too...
