what your igG number for positive?maybe upper 3.5 above can consider hsv virus,below that maybe not hsv..so hard to find either you have a virus or not..maybe western blood test can be use for test the virus...i don't know where the lab can test it.....igg mostly accurate for 12-16 weeks after exposure
