QUOTE(avengers88 @ Mar 29 2011, 10:45 PM) Cross vs Lateral Tension. <--> 28 ^ 26QUOTE(schneider_lurid @ Mar 29 2011, 10:45 PM) ECP, I am just average, usually on 25lbs, but since I'm using 0.70mm strings which easily loose tension after a while, I decide to push the tension up. It's a dull string at low tension according to many ppl |

QUOTE(Omage007 @ Mar 29 2011, 11:07 PM) I wonder which one will be more durable for offensive player, 0.66(BG66) at 25lbs or 0.70(BG65) at 28lbs? bg66 have easy break nature.. well you have to wait a few months before I tell you the BG65 broke.. The nature of strings is much important factors other than the gauge diameter.I haven't broke any strings before so far.. my BG66s and BG80.. both I cut it before it broke (used like 3 months) |

QUOTE(avengers88 @ Mar 30 2011, 05:21 PM) Can commend a lil bit with the difference of Arc 10 and Votric 80 ? Currently im considering this 2 racquet but still did not manage to go to the shop to try it out yet . Vt is light in body, heavy towards head in balance..Even can try out in shop, i think game play time different lorr .. So trying to get more opinions to support first .. Thanks ! Oh and Voltric80 is lighter than Arc10 ? |

VT700 strings @ 27lbs is good, very hard feeling with solid feel.
BG65 strings @ 28lbs is good, good repulsion and sound, soft feeling which felt less impact to your hand. |

QUOTE(pcm123 @ Apr 3 2011, 12:10 AM) hi sifus , wat would be recommended for a newbie player regarding : Generally the lower the gauge diameter, the better the repulsion, and the faster it wears and break.tension of strings and the thickness ? i lack strength , so opting for smth tat boost power . btw , budget very limited XD , not tat hardcore yet . I would say BG66 is beginner friendly, but not so wallet friendly. Some other good strings is like BG66 sharp which you can hardly find them anymore now, not forgetting the price tag of nearly RM50 (JP) BG85 is also quite a nice strings.. |

QUOTE(Augus7 @ Apr 3 2011, 08:13 PM) hi i got a few question, For the string, it's possible, but seriously no one would bother.. unless you are doing it yourself or having a good friend. 1. can i ask the shop to re-tie the string to make the tension increase? 2. is the badminton shoe(ie: yonex @RM80) worth it at jusco? or better buy from sports shop? I wont recommend cheap Yonex shoes, go for other brand for that price range, my friend's leg still hurting a lot buying a RM100+ yonex shoe.. |
