what does the 28X26 lbs suppose to mean ?
*
Cross vs Lateral Tension. <--> 28 ^ 26

QUOTE(schneider_lurid @ Mar 29 2011, 10:45 PM)
ECP or manually pulled? U play regularly?
*
ECP, I am just average, usually on 25lbs, but since I'm using 0.70mm strings which easily loose tension after a while, I decide to push the tension up. It's a dull string at low tension according to many ppl

I wonder which one will be more durable for offensive player, 0.66(BG66) at 25lbs or 0.70(BG65) at 28lbs?
*
bg66 have easy break nature.. well you have to wait a few months before I tell you the BG65 broke.. The nature of strings is much important factors other than the gauge diameter.

I haven't broke any strings before so far.. my BG66s and BG80.. both I cut it before it broke (used like 3 months)

haha yes Arc 10 sold coz too heavy for me not suitable. 8DX still available. So far 8DX is the best racquet for me, yeah using Voltric80 now, still getting used to it.

Even can try out in shop, i think game play time different lorr .. So trying to get more opinions to support first .. Thanks !

Oh and Voltric80 is lighter than Arc10 ?
*
Vt is light in body, heavy towards head in balance..

VT700 strings @ 27lbs is good, very hard feeling with solid feel.
BG65 strings @ 28lbs is good, good repulsion and sound, soft feeling which felt less impact to your hand.

hi sifus , wat would be recommended for a newbie player regarding :
tension of strings and the thickness ?

i lack strength , so opting for smth tat boost power .
btw , budget very limited XD , not tat hardcore yet .
*
Generally the lower the gauge diameter, the better the repulsion, and the faster it wears and break.
I would say BG66 is beginner friendly, but not so wallet friendly.

Some other good strings is like BG66 sharp which you can hardly find them anymore now, not forgetting the price tag of nearly RM50 (JP)

BG85 is also quite a nice strings..

hi i got a few question,
1. can i ask the shop to re-tie the string to make the tension increase?
2. is the badminton shoe(ie: yonex @RM80) worth it at jusco? or better buy from sports shop?
*
For the string, it's possible, but seriously no one would bother.. unless you are doing it yourself or having a good friend.
I wont recommend cheap Yonex shoes, go for other brand for that price range, my friend's leg still hurting a lot buying a RM100+ yonex shoe..

I want to change new shoe also...Asics very tempting but wallet very pain sob sob...low budged yonex shoe is hurting my toe..sucks man
*
Good shoe > good racquet anytime.. Protect yourself first..
So you are not the only one who suffer from toe aching wearing low end Yonex shoe..

Well it's tough.. I tried and did get it haha.. Need to know someone inside then it's easier.. or start penetrating from the supplier side, coz most O&G company requires at least 2 ~ 3 years experience..

But O&G would not be the field you wanna work for too long..
