successfully root my ace with SOC 1.7 now making backup with titanium backup ....
still looking for battery widget which doesn't actually drains out the battery rather than monitoring the battery..

this samsung low-mid-range phone is like "pisang goreng panas" la suddenly everyone want's it due to its given price and moderate specs mostly i think...
i've been playing with this phone for a few days now and had a bunch of stuff downloaded from the market and some other places and mostly need to find one with the move to sd function coz of the low memory in phone but all is well i havent meet with any lagging problems as of yet in any of the programs i use but 2Gb is really2 not enuff at least 4Gb is recommended but i will certainly go for 8 and above... biggrin.gif

flash support is not a big deal for me since i migrated from a symbian phone and i'm still enjoying my browsing with android on dolphin mini...
rite now still playing with launcher pro setting up the wallpaper and icons

battery life is still really an issue after a 100% charge played a simple game of reversi and did some icon arrangement it went down to 82% and its only like a half n hour only...
is this normal for android or samsung mainly ?

/sdcard

/sdcard/media

/sdcard/media/audio

/sdcard/media/audio/notifications

put ur mp3 file in that folder and u will see it when u open up the messaging notifications setting...

i personally never got that indication before but just for precaution make sure u untick "use paket data" in setting and tick "use only 2G networks" this is for prepaid users like me controlling the data and preserve the battery...

try this step... open up ur "My Files" it will open ur root folder in ur sdcard then make a new folder and rename it "Ringtones" and copy all ur mp3 tones inside and if u done it right when u open up ur ringtones menu in setting u should see all the mp3's listed in there ...
