May I know RM 20 ringgit for a 2x2 tile, what kind of quality can get ?

What Grade?

Grade
Grade is the numerical ranking that reflects tile quality.
Grade 1: Highest quality. Recommended for walls or floors.(ie High traffic areas hall/main door entrance/bedroom)
Grade 2: Similar to Grade 1, but with slight imperfections. Recommended for walls or floors. (ie Less Traffic areas ie bathroom/kitchen)
Grade 3: Lowest quality. Thinner tile designed for walls, not floors. Floor tiles are allowed on walls. Grade
3 tiles are not allowed on floors.

TQ....considering just polish existing parquet since some say it still looks good.....in future maybe will lay Vinyl on top (nowdays, no need to hack existing parquet to put vinyl)

and put the money elsewhere...

Hi all sifu,

May I know is there a way to clean the tiles other than using water?

I have bought a subsale house where the ex-owner have lay tiles at the car porch previously. Tiles is those rough type (for car porch)

The tiles looks kind of old-ish (dirty/black/dirt) but still in good condition (no crack, etc).

Is it possible for me to clean it/restore it (around 70%-80% new)?
Reason is I wish to save the renovation cost and skip the tiling work for my car porch.

Thanks smile.gif

Sorry typo. I mean MML. Yes is quite expensive but a lot better

better in what sense? The saleslady recommended just to use china g1 coz in condo you cant "appreciate" your tiles layout..... coz after put in the furniture the view is blocked...make sense...

if urs is landed or larger floor space then diff story...

I am gn with Guacera G1 coz contractor said will give that in together..lump sum install cost..i have decided to give to him with some TnC..waiting for his acceptance/confirmation

I'm doing the tile work for my wet kitchen for only about 30 sq ft. The contractor has charged me rm900 for the wall including the tiles I choose at rm3. I understand this is very little work involved and they charged me rm30/sq ft. Is the price reasonable? Please advice
*
u have to factor in their transportation cost also

or ask them for breakdown

if you go to the hardware store they have quick repair in a bottle, that may/may not successfully resolve the problem.

if you can try and do it the correct way.

Thanks...went to ACE just now...looks like no cleaner methods available (ie via tube) than mixing and messy way....the one I saw (forgot the name) says can cause skin and eye irritation...can recommend any good grout brands that less harmful?

thanks

Hi, I want to replace tiles for 3 toilets and kitchen area for my double story house. Can someone recommend a good honest contractor? I don't mind using indon due to tight budget. What is the typical price to lay tiles on one toilet (including tiles , removal old tiles, hacking, laying , disposal ?). I was quoted rm 3.8k. Is this expensive or ok price,
*
what is each toilets sqft?

how abt others bits like cements, white paste etc. included?
