For work ( or study ), you should not buy a tablet as your only "computer", it has too many limitations and most windows apps ( eg word, excel etc ) cannot work while ipad cannot run flash properly. You should buy/use a tablet only as a secondary device
( web browsing, videos/photos and games ) - present day tablets ( June 2011 ) are still glorified toys
