my mum wanted to get a new phone but i dont know what phone suit her..

1. Brand. - any
2. Budget. - less than 1k
3. Purpose - to read emails + have wifi.. any warranty wise my be able to go repair it nationwide..not getting those AP which requires u to go back to same stall/shop..prefer big screen...and need chinese handwriting recognition...currently i am eyeing on HTC Wildfire..but any other recommendation??

3. Specs - i wanna buy a phone for my girlfriend. her old phone got keypad problem. searcching for something that suit a girl. something with bright color ( not normal black or brown colour). need all basic smartphone stuff ( wifi, email, light surfing, internet messaging apps).

i really dont know which phone suit a girl in that range. but bright colorful design is a must

I suggest that you hike your budget to get a better HTC phone i guess.

For Nokia, Nokia C7 or Nokia C6-01.

I think you can consider about SGS 2 although it may not fit into your budget and you may need to top up a little bit.
