Is the Nokia X7 a good phone? I'm really interested in buying this... Though there seems to be a confusion over the camera, I hear it's fixed focus... which pretty much sucks...

Originally, I plan to get an Android phone. But, I am really afraid that those cheap android phone in RMxxx price range may face performance issues. I am just a student. So, to buy an expensive Android phone with better performance, I need to wait until I go for work.

But, my current Nokia 3110 classic is facing an issue which I don't wish to tolerate any more. So, I really cannot wait until I graduate.

What I want to do now is to buy a phone for temporary use only (use until I go for working and can afford those expensive android phone). It needs to have the following features:

1. Music player and video player
2. 3G / HSDPA
3. GPS
4. Prefer touch screen, but non-touch screen will also be considered
5. Since it is for temporary use, it is not required to use Android OS. Any OS will be accepted.
6. Genuine product and not those look alike product
7. A basic camera
8. I can insert memory card as storage.
9. Accepted brand: any brand that you think I can easily find the accessories (charger, USB cable, headset, etc) in Sarawak.
10. Budget: maximum RM5xx. Prefer cheaper.

Recommendation please??

Note: I just want a temporary replacement phone that I can use until I go working and can afford expensive Android phone.

Or, at least someone can tell me about the performance of those cheap android phone please?

i prefer desire z just because it has qwerty keyboard ~ huhuhu ~ because current im using nokia n97mini ~

I also eyeing Galaxy mini. Originally, I am OK with its spec. But, there is one problem I just know today and that problem pissed me off. Adobe Flash player cannot be installed. Flash player require at least a VGA resolution (640 x 480). But, both Galaxy 5 and Galaxy mini support maximum QVGA (320 x 240 resolution). This mean I willl have problem browsing flash based website like Youtube and others on the phone. There is one Galaxy Mini user created a thread about that problem on Adobe forum. When using Galaxy 5 / Mini, Adobe Flash player will not be displayed in the Android market place. If Adobe Flash Player for mobile has no such requirement, I have no problem with the spec since it is just for temporary use.

mostly HTC devices got support flash [wildfire is the cheapest android in HTC]

as for full flash must be 2.2 & certain hardware requirement...

wildfire like his old HTC brothers got flash support[but not FULL & its before 2.2]

Hi everyone My handphone kena curi so here i am hunting for a new phone (again) haha.

I've narrowed down my selections to 3 choices:

SE Xperia X8
SE Vivaz
HTC Wildfire

Will be choosing one of these 3 as all 3 has the specs that I want under my budget. Only thing is Vivaz is using Symbian and I love Android. But of course,its the cheapest option of the three. Just need some opinions from you guys on which do you think is the most worth buying/value for money phone...Both the SE models are quite similiar in price but the HTC is slightly more exp.

Anyone with experience with either of these phones can give me some feedbacks? Heard from some friends that SE is not a good brand for smartphones, is it true? My previous phone was Nokia 5800.
