Nokia C5-00. However, i suggest if can, you should get backup batteries as well like Sunglobal if you are GPS-ing around a lot in one trip. It should be too expensive.

For Nokia, slim smartphone is about around RM500 for Nokia C5 for ORIGINAL set.

Samsung Galaxy S first hand is not below RM1.5k for original set, bro.

Nokia C5-00 original set? It might not be the cheapest around, but it is still a good phone to be invested in.

if u got 1.5k budget why still looking @ those galaxy ace/galaxy mini
if u go get those, dun end up coming back complaining

galaxy mini is for low-end market, budget phone...
galaxy ace is mid range

u can get either SGSL in ori or SGS in AP [Galaxy S/SL]

Fellow HP savvy, i need a phone that can meet my requirement as listed in the following:

1. Brand: Nokia
2. Budget: MYR500-MYR1500 (the cheaper the better)
3. Specs: Need 1) Microsoft Exchange 2) 3G connection (don't need video call btw) 3) Open PDF file and microsoft words 4) I don't need extra features like GPS etc..
4. Type/Size: Candy bar (prefer the alpha numberic keyboard to qwert keyboard)

No. You'd have to download the map data and voice data first beforehand, but after that its free. Unless as quantum has said you use AGPS.

hmm.. thankss. i wil consider bout S but still thinking of Ace and Mini.. cause its new model.. and my frds of frd just bought Ace.. he told me it was awesome.. keypad quiet smooth.. not so heavy phone.. colour resolution was okay even it was mid range phone.... maybe i should go for it too. hehe
