Ori is original from Nokia Malaysia official contributor like Avaxx, Zitron..
AP is imported from overseas/foreign telco[thats y some got other telco tattoo like 3, Orange, vodafone] with approval of SIRIM so the product is safe to use, so usually new phone is AP arrive 1st then ori
*note that vodafone tattoo are found on celcom devices too

so as well as warranty
if ori, u can go to any Nokia service center to claim ur warranty & get ur phone repaired
if AP, u only can claim ur warranty from ur phone AP company/the shop where u bought from, usually AP warranty is separated
like screen for few months, phone for 2 years, accessories 1 month etc.
while ori warranty applies to all in same time [all in ur phone package 1-2 years warranty etc.]

another thing why AP is cheaper because mostly dealer swapped off the original accessories & put the non ori 1 back into ur box
by doing so, they can earn more by selling the ori accessories ! **this is not 100% applies, some are real honest, some are like i said

nokia c6-00 - free ovi maps, resistive touchscreen + QWERTY keyboard[if he prefer typing of hardware keyboard is faster/comfortable], 5mp + autofocus + led flash

samsung galaxy ace - android [customization, mod, playing apps(got wide open source market) etc.], gps - google maps or install papago, 5mp autofocus +led flash
might as well opt for Acer Liquid Metal if he wants android & better than SGA[galaxy ace]
better because of WVGA screen, full flash support browser etc. but camera quality is really worse compare to any of the above i recommended...

as you see, because not everybody know how to use Autofocus correctly
if you give them auto-focus, they just make the photo turns worse
however, in fixed-focus, no real skills needed to take a decent/good picture

N8, E6 & X7 got its own respective market
N8 - still the cameraphone market
X7 - is more to multimedia/music phone [successor to X6] & i doubt that 4 corners are loud-speaker
E6 - is business phone, blackberry torch's blood influenced..touch+qwerty bar phone

so i think android is better for u
u can get Acer Liquid Metal/Samsung Galaxy Ace wif that budget
i would recommend ALM over SGA due to theres flash support on browser, better screen resolution etc.
but samsung got better support due to big community

kinda like that

just fixed focus easier to use compare to autofocus
if close up of course autofocus is important

on that budget, Elm is ur best choice
its 5mp + autofocus + Led flash is good enough

as i see from ur previous post
what i can get from u is
u want good camera, likes to take night picture etc.

well, if i got the money to buy galaxy S, i rather buy SE XPERIA Arc
as Arc got Exmor R sensor, which is the king of low-light photo shooting..
