@redsinhell erm, india is set to receive its sgs2 s-lcd with tegra. its somewhere in this thread, try searching 20-30 pages behind.

yeah, but il be in the us by August, so il get to use the phone for about 2 and more years.

Btw, I think the russians have rob a Samsung freightment.

with a so claimed way better graphics, i doubt this is a reasonable answer for any reasonable human to accept.

What is not acceptable for me is why do I have to void the warranty just to make it not so obvious lag???

rooting already voids it.

And just to unroot it to send back for warranty. What if suddenly spoil and they discover its rooted?? then how??? kong ah??


U guys nvr experience rooting a bloody vibrant u all piece of cake...
wait till the device rooting is smth like vibrant.. ahh, then u all know....


the dhd was slightly laggy, but it was well within an acceptable rate.

the official 2.2 rom for Vibrant is not pleasant neither is it friendly rooting.

SGS is nothing in effort for rooting compared to a Vibrant.

Go check out the xda if u want to know more..

The easiest way is to flash back to 2.1 and root and all, which i am reluctant to.

the announcement for the htc evo 3d in gsm version is definitely going to change afew people's mind about getting the sgs2.

especially if its coming out with a 4.3 inch super lcd qhd 3d screen. that just wipes the smile of the sgs2.

but i think waiting for the sgs2 will be faster then waiting for the evo 3d.

marketing circumstances, doubt samsung will be daring enough to pit its sgs2 against a much more capable phone.

though, Id still fancy an sgs2 and will buy it immediately when it comes here. (and enjoy the chances of it lagging)

I dont know what part u failed to understand.

Super Amoled Plus provides brilliant colors, and most of the times, unnatural colors.

Qhd proves its very good especially when browsing..

an s-lcd is almost, in fact, just as good and provide more realistic colors then the samoled.

the 3d aint a marketing gimmick. Please know what you are talking about. It is 3d, and it does work, provided the user is looking at the correct angle of the screen.

Why dont you try looking up the word gimmick ???

Clearly, you know nothing about the screens, try asking DJFoo000 for more info.

No offence, but you clearly did not read enough.

The term "wiping the smile out of your face" is to show that Samoled + would not be the best in the phone display, but rather will have to compete fiercely against its rival.
