You're right. It is silver housing for latest model. But the design and the rest are the same.

I am getting my Vios this week too. I plan to either change the steel rim to 14" sport rim. Any sport rim recommendation and price ? If i want to change to 15" sport rim, what will be the recommendation as well ?

upgrade to 15" better. more tire choices and it will look nicer. 14" too small for vios.
*
That was what i am thinking too. Any sport rim recommendation and price ? I found Enkei RPF1 quite nice but a bit pricey. Selling RM1100 in Penang while i can get around RM650-700 (mudah price) in Selangor.

Very nice. I finally gave up the Enkei rim as i do not know how good the rim is. Finally end up with Toyota E-Spec original rims (previous owner changed the rim immediately after he got the car) at a very good price. biggrin.gif

I am looking for a DVD/Media player for my new Vios. What is your recommendation ? Budget below 1.5k (without GPS).

I was recommended by one of the shop the following brands and models.

1. PHILIPS CED1700 Double 2 DIN 7' HD Touch Screen Car DVD Radio Player

http://www.lelong.com.my/philips-ced1700-d...3-02-Sale-P.htm

However, another shop told me this model got problem. Under the hot sun, the power will auto cut-off. Anyone face the problem ?

2. Dynavin.

or any other better player you guys can recommend to me ? thanks

I'm using CED1700. How much they quote you? cool2.gif

So far ok. Power cut off never experience before, but radio cut off experience before  blush.gif
Suddenly my radio no signal, has to restart the player a few times then ok.
(now less frequent)

The reason i chose this is tight budget of course. If not JVC or Pioneer would definitely be a better buy.

One thing you need to note though, the video format compatibility with this player is really not that good.
Only AVI supported, with bitrates quite low as well.
(gotta convert all my mp4's to avi for this doh.gif )

A rating of 5 i will go with 3/5, due to the fact that it is competitively priced and it works.

P.S: Almost forgot one last important thing, sound is definitely good enough.
Compared to lower end JVCs/Pioneers, this should kick their ass. (told by salesman whistling.gif )
I am not an ICE fan, but the sound was good for me laugh.gif

thanks for sharing. I was quoted RM1100 and RM1380 by 2 diff shops. How much you got it?

Got my Vios J Spec 2 weeks ago. Had done the following.

1. Tinted with Huper Optik (Front) and Solar Optik (4 windows and real).
2. Changed to 14" Vios E-Spec rims.
3. Changed the lousy player to Dynavin T4 multimplayer.
4. Installed fog lamps.
5. Got Coomax for the seat.

Hi bro how much u change the 14" E spec rims and the fog lamp and where u done it?
can share some pic of ur coomax seat.
*
The E-Spec rim cost me RM600 only. Brand New as the owner changed it immediately after he got the car. So, i think i got a good deal here. For the fog lamp, i bought from Lowyat (See thread below). Installation cost me RM30. Actually the Coolmax is just a layer of car seat material (http://www.coolmax.com.my).

Ok. Then is about the same. I am driving from Relau to bayan Lepas through BJ(EQ hotel) to work. So will need to up/down hill twice a day. This could cause the FC slightly higher.
