andydavis, ur problem is quite similar to desire z earlier batch, some users do complain about it and suggested to send it back for warranty as it might be one of those defected units....

Im not sure how serious, u can ask those users in Desire Z thread..

Well, the Z's problem was a hardware defect, and needed to be brought to repair as the only solution just so you know. smile.gif

i see, i dont think i would prefer my upcoming desire hd to be having the similar problem as Z. Just battery and the volume is already enough to put me on the waiting list for a better phone from HTC

I just found out that my message will be automatically clear by suddenly for my DHD. Is that normal?

PS: i got more than 1500 over it.

i was testing my gps without my sim card in order to lock to satellite signal... (read from an article)

when i get my satellite signal, i try to insert my sim card back.

when i insert it, the phone will automatically shut off.

that's why i think the problem is at the cover.

i dun know tht we need to remove out sim card in order to lock the satelite signal???
I can lock my gps position in just a few seconds.

unfortunately for me, i can't lock my gps for last night even i try for 30 mins..

that's why i research is there any method to lock it.. that's what i learn from the article laugh.gif

did u just bought your phone not long ago(new)..?if yes then its normal..i also used to have the same problem(gps locking)but after i downloaded an app GPS test now my gps lock very fast (if in an open area) thanx to one of the forumer here that teach me to dl the gps app:)

hi all.. just wanna ask.. how to replace HTC lockscreen with gingerbread lockscreen. don't like HTC punya laa.. i read XDA forum..they just move htclockscreen.apk but when i do research.. they said might have problem when alarm.. tq..

widget locker is the app that replace htc lockscreen with vanilla lockscreen..
