Hmm.. I try again tonight and see if the same thing occurs. sad.gif

But MIUI is kind of hard to resist not using, so many themes... tongue.gif

i'm editing my contact list now, and to my surprise, the contact name support up to 16 characters only and 1 contact can only add 2 numbers.  blink.gif

Really? Below the 2 spaces for numbers there's one that allows additional numbers.

Gimme a min, I'll check for you. Going back to LeeDroid, can't take the battery drain of MIUI. sad.gif

Added on February 20, 2011, 11:02 amOk, at the edit screen there, scroll all the way down. Theres a thing called 'add more information' under 'others'. From there you can add more numbers.

i don't have that 'add more information' option ... all my contacts now is reading from SIM card, does this cause the problem?
*
Ah, that would be your problem. smile.gif

Go to people, press menu, then press import/export. Select import from SIM card. Afterwhich press menu again, select view, then tick phone while untick SIM. After that you should be able to add more numbers and info. Add numbers below the 2 numbers at the edit page.

Can you define your problem a bit more properly? Shut off itself? Meaning it just turns off or it reboots?

is quite troublesome as sometime my friend can't find me when they call...
Are you running on the ROM that came with your phone as you bought it? (stock) or you had rooted it and flashed a different custom ROM?

on stock...i think i need to monitor it for few days and see how is it..
*
If its stock, monitor it for a few more days. If the problem persists, hard reset the phone. If the problem still occurs, bring it for repair.

andydavis, ur problem is quite similar to desire z earlier batch, some users do complain about it and suggested to send it back for warranty as it might be one of those defected units....

Im not sure how serious, u can ask those users in Desire Z thread..
*
Desire Z's which had this problem needed a battery pull, he said his doesn't.

just suggesting since his is quite similar to those users posted in the desire z thread...

At least for his problem, he too could ask out in the Zs thread as a try..smile.gif
*
Well, the Z's problem was a hardware defect, and needed to be brought to repair as the only solution just so you know. smile.gif

The handphone floor, the shop where alot of casings are laid out on the glass table. For those who know the shop name, go to Gelant.

u wan do full wipe or not this time? me confuse wan full wipe or not bcoz in 2.0.13 using ext4..
*
Apparently the /data partition is now changed to the ext4 format (like how SGS's lagfixes are), which suggests you should do a full wipe. I always do a full wipe just to be safe. blush.gif

They are filesystems, ext3 and ext4 are partition formats for android like how FAT32 and NTFS are partition formats for windows.
