QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Mar 7 2011, 10:38 PM) Nope.. When it has run quite long also still got the sound.. I suspect is last time when i went to COSE there to complaint bout my timing belt that time they must have sprayed it with WD40.. As u know u can use WD40 to lubricate timing belt.. So when my car had accident that time it was stationary in the workshop for quite some time.. And then after i got the car only they had sound all the time. never ever ever use wd40 on any rubber parts / materials especially on timing belts or accessory belts. it will deteriorate the material very fast. if needed, use only silicone based lubes as it is safe for use. FYI, timing belt do not or ever makes any noises (be it squealing, "chit chit chit noises") in the morning like some forumer states in here. only accessory belts will make noises after some time. to solve it is very simple really and you dun even have to replace it just because it makes noises. either use silicone based lubes / spray OR rub some candle wax under the belt where it runs over the pulleys. kawtim. |

QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Mar 10 2011, 09:06 AM) If im not mistaken lah they change it to a smaller size.. Our ori one is 1.7" like that.. They downgrade it to 1.6"... measured the pipes before when i changed my headers on my 2009 Persona IAFM. Measured the internal diameter at about 1.8 inch with measuring ruler. Almost 2 inch. I discussed with the exhaust shop famous for modding and he said that its pretty much at its optimum already. Any bigger will cause high FC and might lose out some power.Yeah.. Most of us installed it when our car was new.. Mine around 4k km itself i installed it ady.. I even poorer kid.. Budget also takde.. Sticking to OEM .. |

Even better wei.. then u can select the mapping u want according to ur driving style.. Can set mapping for eco, mapping for power, extreme power etc etc.. LOL didnt have time to reply lah.. hehe..
