The Answer to your Prayer
QUOTE
Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
We all have been taught on the subject of prayers. The how, why, when, etc of prayer. And most of the time, we've been taught the reason why, we do not receive is because there's sin in our lives. Allow me to put that into biblical perspective, It is not.
Today I will share out some guidelines and debunked the myth about the sinning part.
Before I start, I always remind the readers, you must be established in your identity in Christ.
Why this is so important? Because it can really hinder your prayer life.
You must be established that you're righteous by Faith and not by works. If you do not recognised that it is Jesus obedience that makes you righteous and not yours, you will always feel guilty and fall short of receiving God's blessings. But the moment, you're able to put aside your own righteousness and wear Jesus's robe of righteousness, every blessing will flow from Heaven because Heaven only recognise Jesus's righteousness as the key.
If God's blessings depend on our thoughts or act of obedience, before the day is finished, we are. The reason? All of us are not perfect people. I don't mean to sound negative but none of us are able to keep God's law perfectly. That is the reality. It saddens me to know that there are people who just cannot believe God is that good to have finished all the work and it's that simple to just believe by Faith we are righteous. And it is by Faith, we receive.
They like to say, Search your Heart if there's any sins in your life. That is not the biblical truth. The bible says in Colossians 3:3 our life is
now hidden in Christ. And since we are in Christ, His identity is ours therefore there is no condemnation. And since there is no condemnation we have been made righteous by Jesus. And God answers those who are righteous. He does not withheld answers to the Righteous. New Covenant is all about Righteousness that comes by Faith through Jesus Christ. Believe you're clean, 100% clean without sin and you have been given this gift of righteousness. Do not feel condemn even if you have fallen from grace. Just confess God's word, you're righteous. Believe it. It will transform your life.
When you pray, right then and there, believe you receive it. That's all. The Bible never says we must conjure up enough Faith for things to happen.
It just says believe and receive it. There is no such things as I must produce enough Faith, then only God will act. That is human reasoning and nonsense. Jesus made a very contrast comparison by saying Faith as small as a mustard seed is able to move mountains. Now question. How big is a mustard seed? How big is a mountain? Do you understand now?
When you believe, have stubborn Faith. Refuse to back down from believing that indeed, before the last words are uttered in your prayer, God has already move his hands in the spiritual realm. You must understand the spiritual realm always comes first before affecting the physical realm.
Believe that you have already receive the answer to your prayer, you shall have it. That's the key. It may take time, it may be immediate, doesn't matter.
What's important, you must believe, the things you prayed for, is already there in your life even though you don't see it.
Last but not least, DO NOT worry. Don't worry even if the dead line is very near. Don't worry thinking God doesn't know your financial need. Don't worry He doesn't know you're lonely, Don't worry, He doesn't know your family have problems. He knows before you even pray.
Don't worry, Don't worry and Don't worry.
The Bible says in
Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Do you know why? Worrying CAN hinder your prayers.
That's all, that's the secret. Simple revelations but it works.
So start praying. Pray for your family. Pray for your career, your studies, your well being, etc. Hope this will change your life as it did to mine.
God Bless.
