hi all,
just got unifi the other day. all was good, every device could connect until 2 days ago when my laptop lost the wifi connection and couldn't detect the network.

other devices (bb/iphone/other laptop) can detect and connect to the network.

so simple deduction that its my laptop wifi kaput right --- WRONG! my laptop can detect and connect to other networks (neighbours/starbucks/office) --- just this UNIFI router that it can't even detect let alone connect rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

have deleted and reinstalled the network card in my laptop and played around w/ router settings but no go.

anyone w/ similar issues? fixes? icon_question.gif

thanks!

using wpa 2...tried g/b/n then g/b still no go.
on/off router doesn't explain why only my laptop cannot detect.

friend said probably network card koyak --- where it cannot detect certain kind of signal --- sending back to dell.

Solution: Router Advanced Setting-> Advanced Wireless, wireless mode change to 802.11 n/g/b, bandwidth change to 20mhz
