Hi chibi88,
Dermalogica Sheer Tint Moisture SPF15 - MEDIUM, 45ml Retail RM153
Dermalogica Treatment Foundation, 40ml Retail RM134

So coincidently i had experienced the same with you but am actually before dermalogica, i've used many others products including loreal but its not my cup of tea^^ it appears quite dry. Then my friend intro me dermalogica since then i'been using it for 4-5yrs adi lol. For your regimen, it subjects to your skin condition; whether you are sensitive skin(easy redness) or normal dry skin.

Pre cleanse(if u feel your nd it to pre-remove oiliness)> Ultra Claiming(others for normal oily/combination skin) > Soothing Spray(sensitive skin) / Multi Active Toner (normal skin) >Barrier Repair sensitive skin) / Active Moist (oily skin)> Daily Microfoliant >Hydrating Mask

if you are dry skin, for better boost up you can think of skin hydrating booster,30ml retail RM226.

Hi Rayanne,

I'm looking for efficient and effective skin care product to remove pitted scar that caused by acnes and pimples. The pitted scar are visible and exist for few years already. Any Dermalogica's product can recommend?

Thanks in advance for your consultation.

Hi rayanne,
When you describe ultra-rich for Intensive eye repair - Ultra Rich, will it be too rich for mid-twenties skin? like oily or too rich that will cause milia seeds? :bag: sorry yeah, just want to know better. smile.gif

I'm currently using total eye care cream, both day and night. It's great coz it's not oily and I don't have milia seeds anymore. smile.gif Tot of trying another eye cream for night use, since i have lines under the eyes due to scrubbing. sad.gif

Thank you in advance. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi dinosaurgal,
Intensive eye repair - Ultra Rich is for ultra-dry skin condition. its not matter on ages whether 20s,30s or 40s but we are talking about skin condition whether you are normal dry,dry or ultra-dry or dehydrate skin.

I am glad u found total eye care spf15 is good for you and cure milia!
Other than intensive eye repair, you can think of :

skin condition: all
Combat visible lines around the eye and mouth area with this powerful firming complex. Seaweed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E, plus a healing shield of Organic Silicones, protect against damage, accelerate repair, strengthen elasticity and improve smoothness.

Hello summertks,
for oily t-zone/combination skin, you can try the below:

Cellnique skin action sebum gel 30ml to diminish black/whiteheads and oil secretion.
Cellnique AMINO COLLAGEN C COMPLEX 30ml to help skin restoration and helps refine open pores and deliver a firm, healthy, moist and youthful skin.
Daily microfoliant 75g scrub, remove dulling debris and instantly leaves the skin noticeably smoother and brighter(dull/dead skin cells caused uneven skin tone)
or follow by Multivitamin power recovery masque 75ml for vitamin restoration.

How frequent you feel skin oily? During day time all the time or like when you woke up in the morning? i would suggest you to try essential cleansing gel or ultracalming cleanser-->cleanser; for the rest regimen like moisturiser/toner/scrub/mask has to depends on your skin condition, do rever accordingly or pm me for more clarification.. thanks!

Dermalogica Newsletter No.45
[Is there any relief for skin redness?]

by Dr. Diana Howard, Vice President of Research and Development

Blushing, the action of the capillaries dilating with blood in response to a trigger such as excitement or embarrassment, happens to all of us. Our skin flushes with color and quickly returns to its normal state, in which the capillaries relax as we relax. But it's the permanent "flush" look in skin (that may be accompanied by itching, sensitivity, burning and reaction to things such as ingredients in cosmetics or the environment) that indicates a condition known as sensitized skin.

Normally, the outermost layer of skin is an amazing barrier to almost everything with which it comes in contact. But constant assaults can wear down that powerful barrier, preventing it from functioning in a proper, healthy manner, leading to sensitization. Sensitized skin is a growing phenomenon because of the continued environmental assaults our skin must endure. Case in point: people in Asia are experiencing a dramatic increase in skin sensitization due to the large amount of pollution in some parts of the region.

Whether caused by genetics or the environment, up to 90% of the population perceives their skin as sensitive. With such an overwhelming number of the population experiencing discomfort due to skin sensitivity, and because there are no signs of this phenomenon ending, The International Dermal Institute has thoroughly studied the underlying causes of skin sensitivity and sensitization in an effort to find the highest quality, most effective treatment. As a result of this study, we have developed Sheer Tint Redness Relief SPF15. This is the first-ever three-in-one SPF moisturizer that naturally neutralizes visible redness, calms inflammation and defends against future environmental assaults. Sunscreen, Vitamin E and phytoactive anti-irritants such as Sea Buckthorn, Licorice, Oats, Ranunculus, and Willowherb provide critical defense against UV rays and help control severity of daily flare-ups and long-term damage caused by the elements.

How do we relieve redness without using artificial colorants? hmm.gif By following the principles of the color wheel, we know that to neutralize red, one must simply add green. The same principle that applies to an artist's palette of colors applies to your skin: On skin, green works to neutralize, or camouflage, the red, flushed appearance of skin when it is sensitive/sensitized. This natural wash of green color neutralizes visible redness, but because the green wash is translucent, it does not leave behind a green tint.

Some key talking points that summarize Sheer Tint Redness Relief SPF15:

Contains a concentrated dose of phytoactive anti-irritants to soothe inflamed, sensitized skin.
Sunscreen and antioxidants protect against damaging free radicals and UV radiation that directly intensify the damage to sensitive, sensitized and Rosacea skin conditions.
Natural earth minerals provide a translucent green color wash to counteract visible redness.
Sheer Tint Redness Relief SPF15 is free of D&C colorants and synthetic fragrances that commonly trigger reactions in sensitized skin conditions.
Find a skin therapist near you who can provide your free Face Mapping zone-by-zone skin analysis and determine if Sheer Tint Redness Relief SPF15 is right for you.

Hi Ladies & Gentlemen,

Any comments on Notice »»Salon-size products?
I mean, will u all consider on purchasing salon-packing of skin care? Obviously these are not for retail, but if given a chance, will ya? Looking at the L A R G E packing, its worthier compare to normal-large tongue.gif

For instance, dermalogica:
Colloidal Masque (Hydrating Mask) 170ml/5.7oz
Special Cleansing Gel 946ml/32oz
Multi-Active Toner 473ml/16oz

Hi Rayanne,

May I know the price for the following products:

1. Essential Cleansing Solution - any salon size? how much?
2. Gentle Cream Exfoliant
3. Intensive Moisture Balance
4. Intensive Moisture Masque
5. ultra sensitive faceblock spf25
6. solar defense booster spf30
7. skin hydrating booster

And my questions are:
1. Do we need to use moisturizer if we use ultra sensitive faceblock spf25?
2. If I use intensive moisture balance, which solar defence system should I use? My skin condition is very dry with pigmentation.

Btw, thanks for the products you sent me last few weeks. I think they're quite good. but the smell is quite strong compared to dermalogica.

Hi ijayahya,
For product, ugpm!
Pls refer to my reply in below red text.
1. Do we need to use moisturizer if we use ultra sensitive faceblock spf25?
Yes definitely. Moisturiser for skin moisture purposes;sunscreen is for skin protection from sunray, to avoid pigmentation for instance.

2. If I use intensive moisture balance, which solar defence system should I use? My skin condition is very dry with pigmentation.
The solar defense system products offer by dermalogica is suitable for all skin type and also special range for sensitive skin type. It depends on your budget/usage. e.g. solar defense booster is the highest spf30; where else if u think u are little sensitive skin may also take faceblock spf25 or else full spectrum sunblock spf15.

Below are the NEW! sunscreen products from dermalogica. Just newly launched!

Hey rayanne,

I came across this site while looking up on dermalogica products. I was just wondering if Dermalogica would work for my problematic skin. Well, I have eczema skin condition on both my cheeks where it used to flare up pretty badly. At the same time, I have relatively dry skin.

Only after consulting a skin specialist has the redness reduced and improved. The doctor has mentioned that I should never use products for whitening as well as products containing AHA which may aggravate the condition.

Well, I am not looking at milder products which will not aggrevate the condition and at the same time helps improve my skin, since dry skin tends to age faster. cry.gif

From your experience, do you think Dermalogica would suit me?

Hi fireflyz,
Thank you for your interest in dermalogica. In fact, you are not the only-one who have complex skin condition, and i dont think its very problematic.. some even sensitive+acenprone+dry..
