Dermalogica Newsletter Vol.33
new! solar defense system featuring uv smart booster technology The most common complaint about sun protection is the way it feels - often thought of as chalky, pasty, white, thick and downright unpleasant, sunscreen products can clog pores, make skin feel greasy and increase skin's sensitivity. Dermalogica's new high-performance products combine the latest in sunscreen technology with sophisticated ingredients to provide maximum daylight exposure protection while treating each skin's specific condition. ![]() uv smart booster technology Research has found that antioxidant vitamins are as important as sunscreens when defending skin against the aging and burning effects of damaging ultraviolet (UV) light and free radicals. For this reason, Dermalogica products feature UV Smart Booster Technology, a customized microcapsule that safeguards active vitamins, then bursts open upon contact with UV rays, releasing an active ingredient complex of vitamins C and E for maximum free radical and daylight protection. how it works: ![]() This post has been edited by rayanne: May 29 2006, 06:00 PM |

Hello,
I'm a newbie here and I'm interested in trying dermalogica products. My skin is a combination but my main problem is the freckles on my skin is appearing more and more. I do apply sunscreen and I've tried many whitening products but none of them lightens my freckles. I also have read a previous post about fine lines around the eyes and mouth, my condition is almost the same as hers. Can someone recommend me the right product line to buy, please? |

QUOTE(josie_jowy @ Jun 1 2006, 11:26 PM) Hello, Hi josie_jowy,I'm a newbie here and I'm interested in trying dermalogica products. Some people might still describe freckles across a child's nose as "cute." Even in childhood, those brown spots are actually a sign of sun damage. As we age, freckles become more prominent and are often joined by noticeable age spots affecting many areas: the face, neck, chest, arms and hands. And at this stage no one thinks they're "cute" anymore. Efforts to diminish the appearance of freckles including freezing, chemical peels, dermabrasion and laser resurfacing may get rid of freckles and age spots, but such treatments can be painful, and they may damage healthy skin or cause scarring. My recommendation on dermalogica product in your case, try: daily resurfacer QUOTE Daily Resurfacer is Dermalogica's exclusive three-in-one treatment that resurfaces and smoothes skin without causing irritation or redness, helps reduce the signs of premature aging, and brightens with a unique botanical complex that helps even skin tone and balance pigmentation. Designed for daily use, Daily Resurfacer leaves skin smoothed, brightened and hydrated. The hermetically-sealed pouch guarantees application without contamination or waste, while the sponge evenly distributes the treatment and adds to the effectiveness of the resurfacing process. skin condition:All, except users of prescribed exfoliators. Yes for your information on QUOTE multivitamin power firm Combat visible lines around the eye and mouth area with this powerful firming complex. Seaweed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E, plus a healing shield of Organic Silicones, protect against damage, accelerate repair, strengthen elasticity and improve smoothness. how it works # Pure Vitamins A, C and E in an anhydrous (waterless) base accelerate the skin's natural repair process, strengthening elasticity and improving smoothness. # Corallina Officinalis Extract, a red seaweed, helps to firm the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines. # A protective shield of Organic Sillicones helps prevent moisture loss and protects vulnerable skin. Else try extra firming booster,30ml QUOTE This super-concentrated retexturizing fluid visibly firms and smoothes the skin's surface. Seaweed Extract, Vitamin C and Protein Peptides tighten the skin, helping to reinforce the firming effect. Contains no artificial fragrance or color. Professional recommendation advised. skin condition:drier or prematurely-aging skin Forumer -cfim just bought mvp eyes and lips area; ~kerokopi~ just bought extra firming booster; daily resurfacer is new product just launched last year. Any further information e.g discount just drop me pm okie This post has been edited by rayanne: Jun 2 2006, 11:47 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

So, you recommend which one because i saw a lot dermalogica products and i dunno wic for wic due the technical words. and how much will that cost ? For the 'tiny little white thing' you describe might be 1]white heads 2]oil seed but definitely not acne.Acne is breakouts..pimple. With you current skin condition(oily),i would suggest: QUOTE special cleansing gel, Retail @250 ml(RM129)/500 ml(RM199) skin condition:all A soap-free, foaming gel designed to thoroughly remove impurities without disturbing the skin's natural moisture balance. Calming Balm Mint and Lavender extracts soothe the skin, while natural Quillaja Saponaria gently foams away toxins and deep-cleanses debris. Contains no artificial fragrance or color. Professional recommendation advised. For brightenning effetc, try award winning solution: QUOTE daily microfoliant®,75g Retail @(RM184) skin condition:all, except users of prescribed exfoliators This unique, Rice-based enzyme powder activates upon contact with water, releasing Papain, Salicylic Acid and Rice Enzymes to smooth the skin and accelerate cell renewal. Our unique Skin Brightening Complex of Bearberry, Aspergillus, Grapefruit and Licorice helps to balance uneven skin pigmentation. Active agents derived from Rice Bran and Rice Extract help to regulate melanin production while micro-exfoliating dead cells. A super-soothing blend of Green Tea, Ginkgo and Colloidal Oatmeal calms inflammation, leaving the skin extraordinarily clear and refreshed. Gentle enough to use on a daily basis. Fragrance free. Professional recommendation advised. For black/white heads & oily seed problem, try hydrating masque which i personally look this masque. Despite of giving hydrating effect, it also helps to soften our skin. Apply after scrub, twice weekly. QUOTE skin hydrating masque,75ml A hydrating, oil-free gel that restores critical moisture to dry skin without unwanted oiliness, helping to restore suppleness and reduce the appearance of fine, dry lines. Calming botanical extracts of Bitter Orange, Hops, Cucumber and Arnica reduce inflammation, while antioxidant Vitamins A, C and E and Pro-Vitamin B5 help to nourish and replenish the skin. Excellent for the delicate eye area. Contains no artificial fragrance or color. Professional recommendation advised. Or also recommendable Cellnique- Skin Action Sebum Gel,30ml RM139 to reduce black/white heads noticebly effects. Good compliment from MYB forum! Thank You Hi John89, In the market there are dead sea mud/marine masque etc. It helps soften our skin and diminish the presence of scaling and drawing out excess oils and impurities.. For dermalogica, i would suggest Skin Refining Masque which provide the same effect mentioned above. The "mi" you describe could it be black/white heads as mention above.Same recommendation,go for skin hydrating masque or cellnique sebum action gel note: for smootheir and brighten skin, you can try award winning daily microfoliant scrub,75g (RM184) rice-based enzymes exfoliate, apply twice a week follow by masque!
