Bro, can you check whether your laptop SATA port is using SATA 6gbps port from the Utility I posted previously? thank you =)

Meaning that your laptop is SATA3 Enabled on the HDD and SATA 2 (3gbps) Enabled on the CD/DVD Drive, thus you can upgrade to SATA 3 (6gbps) SSD/HDD (Solid-state Drive/Hard-Disk Drive)

Try filling a bug report through acer Malaysia support. They would gladly to help you on that...=)

try to check your bios, see if its updated or the old one...=)
