My friend has the same acer 5750g. He bring it to Star Bucks. He told me can last a few hours, around 4 - 5 hours. But he doesnt play games, and he adjusted his screen lighting to low.

The power management already change to power saver ?
Can install BatteryCare and check the discharge rate ?
*
The power plan is already in power saver mode. I've installed BattertCare and the discharge rate keeps on fluctuates. Some times is around 10W when everything is off(including WiFi) and sometimes is around 18W(WiFi is on).

-18W sound to me like the nVidia is ON...

nvidia is off. as i said, the discharge rate fluctuates. the highest rate is 18W and average is around 10W-12W. BTW, is 10W-12W a normal rate?
