+ centre console cup holders with chrome lining + bluetooth phone buttons at the steering spoke + electric side mirror folding button at the driver's door + the smart key socket now sit inside the centre console, not under the engine start/stop button as before & yup..not so significant though but chrome lining was a nice little touch i must say 

My forte can't start this morning. Brake became harden, unable to push start button to start engine. Car < 1 year.

Called NAZA toll line- was told battery died, waiting for AAM to tow car but luckily i read how to bypass the brake to start engine. Pheww...

most places have ready stock, the car is fully CBU from korea except the 4 doors which are assembled here to "cheat" in the tax system so that you can get this car at an affordable price. the cars are assembled in gurun, kedah.

anyone will worry about the forte 5 years later after warranty period finished? my fren keeps on telling me this.

new Forte owners are lucky to have 5 years unlimited kms. good already..some old forte owners only have 2 years (how many kms i forgot)..some have to opt for ewp. still ok. mine is 10 years installment.no ewp.should i be worried too..of course..engine kong after 5 years...nasib2 la bro.

hmm..i think this question has been asked many times. i cant answer the figure right now or how good or bad it is, but i can tell u that it is definitely not as good as toyota and honda cars resale value, but if you are indeed very worried about resale value, i really do NOT suggest you to buy this car. when i bought this car, I wanted a car that is value for money, spacious and well designed with lots of goodies to boot. You cannot get a car at this price with the kind of features it is offering at all. No way. Not just referring to the electronic goodies but the safety features too like ABS, EBD, CBC, BA.

i understand that as consumers we want the BEST of everything - nice looking car, fun to drive, good resale value, easy to get spare parts, good after sales service, value for money and the works. However, I can tell u that there is NO car in the world right now that has ALL of this. Most yes but not all. Same goes with the forte. You win some, you lose some. For me, I love and enjoy my ride everyday, can you say the same in a vios ? Perhaps not. So isn't that...priceless? The sheer joy of driving this car BEATS EVERY SINGLE NOTION on resale value and whatnot. That's why we bought this great car that was brought to you by KIA.

hahaha... if kaboom, his friend didn't has a chance to tell vaio what happen to his engine coz he's dead already...

i agree with what most pple say - we need a safe car too because we're in malaysia..we might drive safe but others might not, so having a safer car is a plus point too. I feel a lot safer in this car than my previous myvi (no airbag, no stability control stuff) and even saga BLM (got 1 airbag but no stability controls). overall i think the safety features are there to help us just in case bad things happen. if you seriously dont think its a main factor, then yes you're right its not the main factor but it should be in your top 2 to top 3 list...no wonder a lot of malaysians are ok with low spec cars with no airbag, no safety features but must have teh tarik hook lar, 10-20 cup holders and so on...to them THOSE (tek tarik hook, etc) are more important instead...funny rite?

guys wanna ask how to c the INSTANCE Bar ? i press harder it fill up more...sometime when driving and i release the pedal it turn to 0 ...but sometime when my car totally stop the filled till full...i have no idea how to read it...9.4Litre/100km average...haiz..like drinking water...369km now..
