The price for games in Australia is much higher compared to Malaysia due to regional pricing. There's plenty of complaints in the steam forums about this if you look around. Only some game publisher does this so it may not affect all the game prices. Short of buying it while Malaysia, the only other option would be to get someone to buy the game for you and gift it to you. Not to sure whether the gifting part would work but it has been mentioned before in the steam forums.

Gifting should work like usual.

If I'm not mistaken if someone gifts L4D2 to AU user, the version they get is the uncensored version.

Might as well dont buy. It's a garbage game as the Australian servers are all playing on one messy choke point filled map. Due to that, the multiplayer has dropped from great to mediocre.

Anyway, this site would be your best friend, if you are in Australia.

The only down side is, you need to wait 2 weeks for the game to arrive. I always buy games from there as im also in Australia too.

I am on topic, as i gave a link on the online store that most Australians buy from.

Pretty much no one get games retail there, like Malaysia, because it's priced very high.

Black Ops is a garbage game, because it's almost impossible to find a reasonable game now. Not everyone buy games just to play co-op with each other.

AUD55 sounds good. 1 stupid question here hope u guys dun mind spoon feeding me just this time... is PC game considered a console?
cause they says

"All of our games are PAL or PAL compatible which means they will work on Australian and New Zealand consoles.

All PS3, DS, PSP games are not region locked and will work in any country."

No, PC games are region free there. If the game is listed, it should be ok to buy.

Gifting is indeed possible to those stuck in Australia. My friend who lives in Perth had someone from the States gift L4D2 to him (the Australian one was censored/non-gorey/whatever lame crap) and it worked like Magic Johnson.

You win a whole pie, my friend happy.gif
Yeah I also had Left 4 Dead 2 gifted from my dad in the UK. THen again, this was before I moved over LOL
But IIRC this game is region free or something, you could import any old copy and get it to run in Australia.

@Cheesinium Thanks for linking up ozgameshop.com, I just found out about it and had just received my copy of Super Street Fighter IV from there. Only thing is that this thing was shipped from England. Why in the hell is an Australian game shop based in England >_>
