QUOTE(mamnuq @ Jun 10 2011, 10:38 AM) Hi anyone, Appreciate it if somebody clarify me on the difference of Macbook US set vs Malaysia set. This is my common finding. Both are covered by international warranty (provided buy from authorized shop/trusted people) Almost same hardware/cable/accesories. Do tell me if any pro and con buying either one. P/S: Seeing some forumer sell Macbook i3 model for RM 3150. (Retail Malaysia is RM 3699). Very mouth watering Thanks if u find properly, u can even get a malaysia set for around the price u mention

QUOTE(Icehart @ Jun 26 2011, 10:27 PM) Just a quick question, is the mbp 13" hot after usage for a long time? That's because I plan to use on my lap when I'm mobile. To me, my mbp13 i5 is kinda hot after long hours of usage

My MBP 17 i7 when ever I'm doing my work using music editing software(Pro Tools) the temp of MBP will reach 90-95°C and the fan speed will run at 3xxx-4xxx RPM Once I bought the cooler pad, the temp maintain 70°C all the time with 2000RPM fan speed I have a notepal infinite It's fine when I have my lappie on the cooler but when it's not, it is hot man

I've just sold my mbp13" and replaced it with a new one(same spec, core i5 2.3ghz) I did a full restore to it via time machine and it's exactly the way it is as before but the boot up time(about 1min) seems to be slower than my previous one(about 30sec). Any idea guys? Or is it my problem?

QUOTE(jady @ Jun 29 2011, 10:25 AM) I'm thinking to get MBP 15inch i7. Just wondering, buying now or wait another 1-2 weeks for new one with OS Lion? Cos they said buy now can get free upgrade to OS Lion too. Any difference? i think no difference la....maybe u buy later after they launch then u might get the LION installation disc together in the box
