It's better to buy from reputable seller rather than saving extra hundred bucks and regret it when you face problem during warranty

NP8170 no rubbery surface, 2 hdds slot but 1kg heavier and HUGE.
NP8150 seem like dust magnet but most powerful 15 incher and more mobile. spec and price wise not much different, get NP8170 or NP8150? |

QUOTE(soundsyst64 @ Mar 17 2011, 09:01 PM) depends on your preferences and budget. If got extra, go for 8170 if i add in caddy cage plus hdd on np8150, the price will equal np8170 if budget limited and want 2nd hdd, go for 8150. exchange optical to caddy case that can put another hard disk. my concern is more bout the dust vs weight/portability hahaha |

Wow... better wait for 6970M... performance of GTX 485M but price of GTX 470M. sadly not many boutiques carry 6970M yet. |

NP8170 with upgrade to i7 2720QM, HD6970M and 3 years warranty cost less than USD2000. Very tempting.
Mucro seem like good place to buy from but from various email with them, seem arrogant. I guess even worst after you purchase it and need their help for RMA. |

Indeed. For Msian, it's wiser to purchase directly from US instead of another middleman in SG. Say YAY! to no import tax on laptop.
Another point is SG currently getting stronger but USD weaken against MYR. |
