Don't buy a Corsair SSD because it eventually won't work in the new Sager models. Any other one is fine.

QUOTE(mcbarney666 @ Apr 28 2011, 03:49 PM) Hi Guys, I think it's cheaper if you get the 500GB hybrid at a shop that you can haggle, rather than ordering from Mucro and it's cheaper to install stuff on your own. Other than that, the config should be similar to mine; you won't have regrets in the long run.Need opinions on the below config: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The whole shebang is 8K++ Do the prices for the HDD and SSD make it all right or will I save more if I do it myself by buying locally and self-install. After being away from tech for some time I'm pretty astounded by the improvements. Thanks. |

Docking stations are docking stations...you can buy any different one and it fits on the USB ports. I currently have 2 docking stations; a Logitech one and the Roccat Apuri.

The Clevo P170HM 3D Variant is up for preorder at my reseller's website:
http://www.logicalblueone.com.au/store/454...d-notebook.html Kinda expensive though...but if anyone's looking for a 3D solution, you can expect the pricing to be similar to the link above. |

QUOTE(kahjye @ Apr 29 2011, 03:12 PM) Is it possible for anyone to guide me after i get the Crucial C300 SSD 128GB? Oh that's easy.i dont know how to set up those AHCI or ACHI mode lol..totally newbie in this kind of stuff.. After you install your SSD into the slot, power up your laptop. You will reach the POST stage (the BOOT logo bit). Press F2 to enter Setup. Once you reach there, go to Advance settings (I think, I'm not at my laptop atm); there should be a setting for ACHI or IDE mode. |

I have tried what that backlit video did...but the size of the inverter that converts the voltages to be used on the EL wire, is quite big; I could not fit that in the small compartment of the NP8150.
However, the EL wire runs through well inside, quite possible maybe. |
