It's just the carbon. You can use newspaper to wipe your lens anyway. It's practically the same thing on the lenspen.

i suggest u dont use the hoya hmc on the 70-300vr, im using that same combo...or at least i was...now no more.
here are the 100% crop samples i shot this evening.
i took a few shots with filter, and few without filter of the same spot to make sure its consistent.
i guess the differences should be obvious.

If I were you, I wouldn't take the risk. Practically, I'm a type who think of long term investment (not very long lah of course).    Well, some 3rd party stuffs are reliable, yet, hmmmm. I'm just afraid it will cause short circuit or leakage, or I think too much? 

how much 3rd party batery? IIRC ori batery only around RM150 mah

3rd party around RM70. Some people unwilling to buy ori bah, but I still don't get it why.

Same case as my friend's D90, unfilled receipt but they requested the purchase receipt. If unfilled warranty can claim then everybody's warranty won't over already 

went for dinner yesterday.. practice food photography.. but i cant seem to get sharp enough focus =( I used my 18-55 on A mode with f/7.1, ISO 1600 and shutter speed of about 1/20... still cant get sharp focus

have u ever claim ur warranty? if not, don just simply say...

lol, it's your problem, not tools problem. Try bigger aperture perhaps. I always do food photography and A mode all the time. Somehow I prefer using 18-55mm instead of 18-105mm.

if around 600 for the 18-70 , i would get 18-105 .

500D was stolen.

when i come to D7000 almost all my friends, forumers advised me to take the (body only) + (35mm lens). may i know whats wrong with the D7000 package that comes with 18-105mm lens??
