Guys... I wonder, the UNIFI 5mbps is it

1. Dedicated 5mbps for Download and 5mbps for Upload?
2. Total 5mbps for Download AND Upload?

This is the thing that I want to clarify,
when i ask the UNIFI dudes, they say its dedicated 5mbps for Download and 5mbps Upload.

When I do a speed test says different story...

Guys can you test your UNIFI also.... notworthy.gif

Up to the speed... not dedicated i.e: 4.5mbps up  4.1mbps down (some gets better some get worse or combination of both)

Hmm... means its shared between the 5mbps
so for example,

I'm download at 5mbps
Then... i tried to upload to 2mbps
My download will turn down to 3mbps...

So total still 5mbps...

Is this what you mean?

Show you all something

Attached Image

Unifi 5mbps

Downloading constantly at 5mbps...
Then when i upload a file to my ftp server

The download speed of 5mbps has been pulled down.

But the total is still 5mbps.

Question is... the download and upload speed is merged
Is not dedicated 5mbps download and 5mbps upload.

If its dedicated, the total speed would be 10mbps already.

Could it be your ftp server that limit it?

Try to get a torrent to re-confirm the download/upload speed or run some SpeedTest, it should be dedicated speed.

Tested.... I run the upload... it can hit 5mbps, then i run download it also can hit 5mbps
but when i run both.... it will share 2.5mbps each... so total will be 5mbps...

But when i try to explain to the UNIFI ppl... those nut heads dunno what I'm trying to say
