Anyone using Xperia Pro please share with me the pros and cons of ur own experience using it.. I saw one for RM738 new in Miri.. so.. kinda interested hehe..

i use zergrush method to root n it supports for unlocked bootloader. i used wotan server to update.

some mod i used from arc forum. neo can use widget from pro too :-D

i think the only downside of pro is to find the accessories such as protective cover. installing the skin i.e idefence sounds troublesome for amateurs.

other than that maybe its higher price and for its software really depends on SE & 3rd party developers to provide it.

well thats just my opinion. RM700++ is really cheap... and i think actually it is the price for MINI Pro :-\

u sure rm7xx???!!! coz new AP set in KL is rm9xx and Ori is rm13xx. seriously new set or not that unit? feel like a scam wor. rm7xx suits more to a new Ori Xperia Mini Pro price.

can give me link for zergrush? im now reading on rooting a boot-loaded unit for PRO..needa get some kind of code from SE official website stuff like that. so now ur recovery app is what?

i just tried zergrush and its quite hard with adb stuffs. it is (lots) easier if using rootXperia with CMW method with bootloader unlocked.

you have to read a lot before rooting, as precaution

Ya i did ask him whether it's new or 2nd hand(i saw it physically at the shop).. he told me it's new.. possibilities of wrong pricing? cannot be? Mini Pro next to it was RM680

U sure he gave u see the phone? Cuz many people are confuse between Xperia Pro(MK16i) and Pro mini (S model). Price sounds more like mini Pro...

Pro - alot of features
- qwerty superb
- screen colors amazing. especially watching movie / vid
- cmera i give 8/10 wif new app installed
- sound good , recording also tiptop
- battery quite good for this kind of phone.. to me la ><
Con - need more RAM
- LED under the sun hard abit to see lo
- cmera button
- audio jack position
- chrome and gloss finishing sucks xD easy to dmg , get dirty

Wat app for camera is best yea? I dlded the full version of Camera Zoom FX...can adjust some of the pic from coloured to negative to sephia to b&w...but dunno why when i put in my c the picture is not even wide despite the size of 8mp...

You need to enable the 16:9 mode (6mp)

serious? i plan to read only 1 method and go for it. once bricked, i just reset back to ori firmware via pc companion. not the first time i bricked an SE android handphone so im ok with it as long the board is not done.

i read SE website, it mentioned "rooting might void" due to hardware failure etc etc. noneed go liaw, i went there yesterday and took the last casing for MK16i...black colour. the service was damn lousy, the counter guy macam don wan layan me and macam hangover..got lady walk in ask for screen protector he jump up and layan liaw. fucuk!

read read read from xda forum. im reading too before i root my unit. it is likely not as simple as rooting other SE androids if im not wrong.

u can find the plastic case in TS...@ IT Centre there..i buy it from there,,green color..here mine SE NeoV with plastic case

SiuYi : pmed u already. rootxperia is for unlocked only.

root voids warranty. but u can unroot. if u unlock bootloader, u can relock.

If you read more, it is very quite safe to do and there's lots of possibilities or capabilities waiting to be discovered.

i no eye see and complain...seriously i facepalm with the service. since it is near ur workplace, u go over and ask again la. if u ask xperia pro, sure he duno what ur toking about, he only know MK16. fucuk the guy, not sincere at all for the service..even standard procedure also need ask what im looking for.

yeah ... seriously can do it. some even can lock/unlock so many times.

i can only advice you to read because our phone model is different and there are problems and can be solved in different ways.


I think the TPU casing also being sold in lelong/

Which one should I buy? Original Neo V (5MP without Exmor R) or AP set Neo (8MP)?

I'll go for Ap Neo anytime..
