Do you really need to read all the song name?
Get a program that can rename all file at 1 go, easy.
the best way is to rename something from:
03 - Jesper Kyd - Ezios Family.fac
to
Ezios Family.flac
For song, i dont need to read the file name. i dont care, just play any album i like. but for file which is not song with filename format of (for example)
ABCDEF.COM_ECHO_CALL_BIG_GROUP_AUDIO_REPLAY_PETER_PARKER_CLARK_KENT_MR_ALEXANDER_NOVEMBER_22_2011.MP3
it would pose a small trouble if i have say about 5 or more file in one folder like that. quite hard to renaming it so that it make sense except manually.
if the speed of text scroll are as fast as in now playing i could just read first few words and guess which file i want to play, no problem. only the speed of text scroll in media is not the same as nowplaying.
i guess to satisfy this requirement an mp3 with big enough screen to display the full/half ful filename is the best. but i can't find other mp3 player with as good price, sound quality and ability to play flac as cube c30.
so i guess you guys are right, it's quite good for the price. and i have to live with it for now except they release a firmware with faster auto text scroll which i think maybe they will not do as not many user require this capabilities.
for now i'll just tolerate this as it is as I'm not a true audiophile who spends in the realm of thousands for audio player and headphones.
the most expensive headphone that i bought were hd280pro with deathclamp which i don't know where it is now since i moved house. would like to pair cube c30 with hd280pro and see what kind of sound comes out.
as i explained before my file are arranged in different categories and folders,
song, high quality brainwaves related music, seminar, podcast, audiobooks, language learning material, language teaching material etc.
i guess a rockboxed ipod classic is the most suitable but i dont want to buy it so now i just have to live with cube c30 limitation.
Added on March 3, 2012, 2:31 pmhow long does it takes for your cube to boot up? mine takes a long time. i use a nearly full16gb microsd and internal memory still have 800 mb free.
however without sd card it alos took a long time to boot, a few minutes actually making me reboot when i lost my patience haha. even i fall asleep waiting fot cube to start up. it takes a long time displaying CUBE. the initializing sd card however takes a much shorter time.
