Anyone tried this hospital before for checkup and delivery?My wife just done a pregnancy test and shows she is pregnant(our first baby, .We went to clinic and double confirm, then the doctor wrote a letter and recommend us to go for Tung Seng Hospital. We went for first checkup but the doctor just did a ultrasound scan.Other then this,there is nothing else.

I thought he should take the urine test as well as blood pressure test also isn't it?Anyone can give some comment about this hospital?I heard that the dctor here is a very experience one.

I think you refer to Tung Shin hospital in Jalan Pudu near Puduraya. Yeah, the doctors there are very experienced... The charges are reasonable due to the fact that it's a middle class hospital (in my opinion)... I was borne there...as well as my siblings... many many years ago...

tung shin is one of the most respected maternity hospital in msia... their history goes back all the way.. .if their standard is the same, i say good choice

I think Tung Seng is good, esp. for chinese, the gynae or the veteran nurses will give advises of do's and don't according to chinese believe.

In terms of experience, there should be no concern, my only concern is the time you need to spend to wait for your turn to check-up, averagely it will take more than 1 hour :-p

At the beginning is ok, you just need to go check-up once a month, but when come to middle stage, you need to go for check-up twice a month and when come to later stage, you need to go at least once a week.

Anyway, those are nothing when you see your baby delivered, you will feel whatever you've gone through is so worthy ;-)

the last I checked, few years back, this hospital is not that good. It is situated in one of the most jam location in KL. Going there would be a hassle.

The services are also not that good. Slightly better than GH and lacking behind hospitals like SJMC or Gleneagles.

I wouldn't recommend going there unless you are recommended by friends or family for a good gynae there.

If you are located in KL, try going to Tawakal. They has shifted to a new building and facilities should be still in new condition.

The only advantage is that it is near town area. So it was suite for me since i work nearby. Facilities, dr, nurse etc quite ok ler. Not so fantastic like SJMC etc but better than GH etc.
