Where is the 40% cut off for Insight part from honda.

and what if Honda ran out of the 4,250 APs for the importation of Hybrid for this year? (Which I think is very likely to happen in 2 to 3 months time)

Hopefully Honda Malaysia will be able to get more Hybrid APs for CR-Z from the gov...if not those people who are waiting for CR-Z will be disappointed.

Why RM124K? I thought without AP you can't bring in the car at all?

There are high possibilities that the tax exemption for hybrid cars will be abolished next year..
this is to make way for Proton to introduce their new hybrid models in malaysia
Hence, if your queue is greater than 4250 th unit, then the earliest possible allocation to you will be on Jan 2012
by then, once the tax exemption is abolished, you won't be able to purchase it at 98k anymore

let's say after the tax exemption for hybrid cars were abolished, the price of the imported hybrid cars projected as below:

Insight 120k+
civic hybrid 130k+
toyota prius 160k+

so, when proton launch their Tuah/Jebat/Kasturi hybrid, it would probably cost 80-90k to compete with imported hybrids..
in this case, do you foresee the competition?

Which Puchong's SA are you referring to? I am quite happy with Peter (SA from Puchong) because he can be trusted. I booked my car during KLIMS 2010 and he promised me that I can receive my car by either end of February 2011 or early March 2011. He kept to his promise and I received my car on 1st March 2011.
