Nope - not all, some of the test drive units still remain "unregistered" unit. It can be "going-to-be-delivered" to customer unit. doh.gif shocking.gif doh.gif

i am going to meet up with my sales agent later in the afternoon to discuss about the trade in price for my old car and NCD transfer matters..
if everything goes well, most likely gonna place the booking today and expected delivery would be 4-5 months from now
though the waiting time is long, i believe this is worth the while as the car is a CBU unit from japan....after this year, future bookings will be coming in as CKD from thailand

made my booking already via my sales agent in Bangsar....he told me the allocation for March/April has been fully taken for those customers whom made their bookings in Nov/Dec...
earliest possible allocation would be in May onwards subject to availability.
Anyway, i managed to get RM 500 personal discount from my SA...he told me it was taken from his personal sales commission for the car... thumbup.gif

my SA promise to give ECO tint(which i never heard of this brand)...is it good or she simply give cos maybe is cheap?

I also test drive already. Great pickup. I have a feeling that pickup is faster
after I disable the ECO button. Anyone feel the same? The electronic look
pretty.

Also, at 12noon, the sun so hot, having ECO mode make the aircond feel hot
because I'm fat. Fat people feel hot faster. My thin gf does not feel hot.

Unfortunately, I test drive a Ford Focus tdci (turbo diesel) before I test drive Honda Insight. So my liking is veered towards Ford Focus TDCI. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

bro, the ECO mode will shut down the aircond for a certain duration for energy saving..therefore, not advsiable to try it during afternoon sweat.gif
the pickup and acceleration of ford focus tdci is obviously better due to higher torque and diesel turbo charged..
but then, the price difference between ford focus and honda insight is around 30k..if you such bufget, perhaps you might be interested to look at the higher end hybrid car such as toyota prius thumbup.gif

I still can push my budget. But Ford TDCI no need to change battery. tongue.gif And more save petrol than Hybrid tongue.gif

as I said, the discount/freebies/rebate is solely taken out personally from the sales commission of the SA..
therefore, I won't be expecting too much from the SA as well...
perhaps you may want to discuss with your SA about exchanging those gifts with cash rebates

Btw, the reason i got this reabte if because i have been referred to this agent whom is a close relative of my colleague
also, and this SA only need to process the booking procedures as I have already took the test drive in some other branch earlier
hence, this SA has less work to do and subsequently offer me the personal rebtate... brows.gif

To be detail:
- Futuristic dashboard with lots of button to push. Nice meter clusters with lots of information, i have to stop to read everything.
- Pickup better with tree button off after 4k rpm-vtec kicks in (a bit better than Altis 1.8). Engine noise acceptable.
- Silent when stationary (engine auto-off). Only mild blower sound.
- Engine restart was seamless when resume driving.
- Braking felt a bit awkward (does this car equipped with regenerative braking?)
- Steering also awkward (not really use to EPS)
- Nice eco colour on the meter cluster. Changes between green and blue according to your driving style(eco=green)
- 98k on the road. 96+++k with NCD 55% (if trade in my car)
- Free tint, full tank, visor and honda gifts.
- Ride & handling just like City.
- Maximum 50km/liter (on meter).
- Information from SA, full tank up to 900km, top speed 170++kmh
