Greetings from CP Arcade! seems like there is a community for rhythm games as well. glad to know some of you have enjoyed your time at IPC/Curve/IOI (new wing)

i've seen someone play our Popn music 16 like a boss, that i couldnt even follow his hands. maybe is one of you guys?

We are actually in the midst of planning our purchases for 2013, and it would be great if we had feedback from actual players in Malaysia. so mind me being blunt, what sort of machines would u guys like to see in malaysia?

also, is there a society or something for rhythm game players? we are having a PIU speeder competition next week (12 & 13 January) @ IOI concourse, Old wing.. so if anyone wants to join us, feel free to meet up with me for a chat.

All points duly noted and we'll get to the maintenance ASAP. Thanks for pointing it out. while some may take longer because we might need to order parts, we'll do what we can.

With regards to upgrades and whatnots, i would be more than happy to meet up with the society to see how we can go about on it. i am at IPC most of the time and you may just ask the cashier or the 6D attendants for me.

We will be expanding to many locations within this year, so keep a lookout for us. we may suddenly pop up near you anytime

And i am planning to organise competitions every other months, possibly at alternating outlets (IPC/e@curve/IOI/future outlets), whether it be basketball competitions, racing (mmt4 coming soon), music games festivals, etc etc, your feedback is very valuable to us.

Only one pop'n music in malaysia? are you sure? will take note of that and bring in another unit or two. Also, we have an outlet at fahrenheit 88 (3rd Floor, Parkamaya), though im not too proud of the machines there, we are updating our library as we speak.

Getting new machines is really difficult sometimes, mainly because of the low ROI rates. BUT i have convinced my boss and we have confirmed at least one unit of Jubeat Copious from our supplier. where would you guys like to see this machines at?

@betawatcher - i will be in times square around 1pm for a meeting with one of the gaming communities. Another competition will be held soon. Am trying to squeeze in something for the rhythm game community.. anyone interested?

@Yuki Ijuin - we are sourcing the upgrade kit as well.. it would be nice if the community could show some support. We are committed to maintaining our machines and our techs are on standby at all locations. The 7 and 9 buttons are repaired already. should rebound normally now we are working one the uniformity as we are not too well-versed in high level gaming.

@TehWateva - Im sorry but the speaker on dj max was actually blown. the speakers have been replaced. if you come around, do call me up and have some free games on me. to be fair, Yuki should get some free games too.. haha

Hey guys. Thanks for your feedback. For now, fahrenheit88 is just your run-of-the-mill arcade because we are moving the machines from an older location. The latest one would be fiesta 2.. Dead storm pirates, terminator, etc...

But we are choosing more machines to purchase if we are able to generate support from you guys (the community)

We might also purchase Mai Mai. So you might not need to forego Mai Mai after all. Haha.

Yes we are procuring a set of jubeat and not the rip-offs I've seen in several location. I'm also speaking to konami on their side to see if they can do anything about the unlockables.

I should have some news regarding the machines all of you have suggested by next week.

Does anyone know if the community has some sort of team to promote rhythm games?

or maybe society or clan or something? like wangan or tekken or street fighter?
