when you back up, did you choose "nand + ext backup"?

if yes, are you sure the new ext partition is the same as your old one?
meaning if your old card has ext3 partition, is your new card ext partition ext3 as well?

and erm..after you restore nandroid, you don't need to flash the rom again, just reboot will do

when you restore nandroid, it means everything is restored already, including your rom, so you don't need to do it again
I am not sure if you can still do nandroid + ext backup using the 8gb card anymore, since you reflashed the rom already

if you follow guide, then most probably your ext partition is ext3, since most rom uses ext3
you should know your ext partition when you are partitioning your sd card

now.. I think you have to start fresh already
meaning flash new rom and install back everything manually

or maybe try using the 8gb card and see if you can boot into the rom,
if yes then you can do all the backup and transfer it to your 16gb card

you never use any sort of folder widget?
helps you to group your app and makes it easy for your to access them

here are some you can take a look at:

its useless, no matter how we dislike the way he market the iPad,
the general consumer which is also the majority wouldn't care, especially the Apple fans,

personally thinks that iPod is the only thing that is worth getting from Apple

iPad's price dropped because iPad 2 is gonna launch on March 11th
whereas iPod Touch have to wait till August~September for the next generation so its price will stay for quite awhile.

oh and, even though the iPad is cheaper now, but for the sake of mobility and convenience, I would still pick iPod Touch over iPad

two years is a very (VERY) long period for smartphone technology,
even the latest dual core phones will be outdated by next year,
so its almost impossible for a phone to stay future proof for that long
if you don't care about the having the latest tech,
then best is just get whatever suits your needs and use it to the fullest.

I'm using a Sun Global 1850mAh battery, just got it 2 days ago,
it really improves the heat issue, even when it gets warm, its not as warm as the stock one
and the battery life is definitely longer, but not really that significant,
if you game non stop, it will still drain within few hours, maybe 1 to 2 hours longer than the stock one
but then, since the battery is still new, it could be better after using for a longer period after calibrating

yup, will provide more feedback on this
