Im very noob with this android device (just used it about 2 weeks)
I have a problem to setting the umobile broadband for htc desire, i have inserted the sim to the phone.
need help from experts here to solve setting/configuration

beside 3D games, is many apps now really fully utilize dual-core?

just wanna check with u guys, u guys flash ur ROM is abt improved performance or its just the sake of being updated with the latest build?

i mean, u can have gingerbread or even honeycomb ROM developed for desire but, can the hardware take it? would u rather sacrifices speed just
to hav a latest build? (if the ROM is stable n usable, just slower)

I've flash some ROM with my old WM device before, due to the hardware limitation, it can use latest ROM but with lagging/slower speed.. which is annoying to me..

I don't know about WM ROMs,
but for Android's almost every newer version is a better version,
unless the developer wanted to try something new, in which you can choose to skip the update of course.

and there's no "official" hardware requirement on Gingerbread or even the later versions,
even HTC Wildfire which has less powerful spec than the Desire is able to run Gingerbread smooth as butter,
in fact, it is smoother than the stock ROM.

yup . bored lo there cant support desire ..

like samurai 2 .. cool graphic too but not for desire owner ~

Not really a lot iirc, which is a good thing for us.

Too many later our phones obsolete.

But if a lot is also a good sign, more apps by end of the year..

its not that they can't support Desire,

but they want to make it to help selling Tegra 2 phones,
its exclusive only to Tegra 2 devices, even if you have a dual core it still doesn't mean that you can play it, it have to be Tegra processor.

I wonder typing in browser required more processing power, when I type long message like this 1, it tend 2 lag sometimes, any1 encounter this? But browsing no prob woh..hmm..
