you cant find a smartphone that can last 2-3 days charge per time if you are always turning your phone on, like me, my homescreen is too beautiful that i always wanted to see it~~ lolz...
the only way for me to get it running for 3 days and a half is when i'm on holiday/semester break. my friend are not gonna calling/sms me, and i use another number of my gf. what i do get is occassional emails and promotion sms. i just let my phone in front of my ps3, and yeah it stays strong for 3 days. why? cuz i only play my ps3!
btw, damn suddenly i wanted an ipad 2, an ipod touch, a macbook pro except an iphone. instead i'll get Pyramid. but still all of those are expensive. and i need to buy latest ps3 games too!
why this world is moving too quickly? cant they let me buy a thing first then another thing come out? why does it need to come all at one time?
aargh~~~ i'm not even married yet! suddenly i'm blabbering bla bla bla~~ haha...good morning!
Owh @krk24 - it was my first time jumping to smartphone too, and i was about to buy a 3GS/4 that time. i met Android cuz i did too many research lol. i cant help it but i'm an open source guy so the research gots bigger and bigger and i found Desire. its not the phone of the year yet that time, but i knew its gonna be good and the best.. hehe~~
ROM? its the operating system on your phone. well kinda. hmmm distribution to be exact. Like Linux, got many distro; ubuntu, mandriva, mint, puppylinux, etc. same applies to Android Rom; Cyanogenmod 7, Oxygen, Redux, LeeDroid, etc...
root access gives you the admin priviledges. if you use Linux you know that some actions require root permissions. so initially the phone is locked/controlled by the manufacturer until you root it. hence you are free to do anything you want. its your phone man, so you are the admin am i right? haha

(i think i just made a great quote to encourage people to root).
DHD and IncS has bigger screen, better camera, better recording FPS, faster HSDPA connection but Desire are not left out very much. DHD have a great community though, many Desire user jumped to that one. and they got stable CM7 too! so my point is, if you are using your phone without changing for a long time(preferbaly until your warranty finish), you might want to find a phone that have my developers for it, especially cyanogenmod team. if not you'll be bored to hell. like me, after 5 months i'll be bored edy but lucky got CM to make phones more fun. If you would like to wait for Inc S to see if it has devs for it, go for it but how long you want to wait anyway?
i have always in this kind of situation, i bought a fat ps3 fat knowing that ps3 slim is announced a month after that. got my psp fat and 2 weeks later psp slim is there. bought my Desire and a few days after that, Desire HD is announced. it sucks but the truth is, i never regretted cuz i did the right choice, and i'm not missing much. my Desire is more fun than any dual core phone released in Feb-March, what do you think?
