Sepang is VERY expensive for a closed track day...unless u know the people there and can really negotiate a term with them like 3 hours @ RM150 per car but minimum 30 cars. this is wat HCOC got a LLOOOOOOONNGG time ago.... may sound good..but really not easy to get.

normal open track day oso around RM300.

I was thinking normal open track day actually... but is it 300??? i thought it's 400??? probably i misread....

when at road we feel safe when a car equip abs & ebd...but when at track i feel very dangerous. It very hard to predict braking point to entering corner..During hard brake abs always kick in...i always over shoot the corner coz abs make my car slower to slow down at desire speed to enter the corner. nasib baik x terbabas..

well at least i got little experience at track even just a a few lap.. icon_rolleyes.gif

u gain experience with this. I envy u guys can go track testing... myvi car lighter. smaller engine maybe but weight still dictates the car performance. try practicing light/tapping the brakes smile.gif

we dun feel ashamed... we feel wiser smile.gif

we're not tat far during the sprint... maybe u still got ur throttle limiter or missed the shift points? smile.gif

hence his modding monster syndrome.

just imagine it this way... you spend ~3k on your mods... but you end up with lower output compare to the one who spent <1k for mod... how do you feel... that's azuma... tongue.gif

yeah but ECU mapping MIGHT also be a factor...

coz he driving waja... and the other CPSers were non-wajas... so theres a possibility the ECU mapping for wajas and other car CPS engines are different...to cater for different uses/ needs

that might be a factor too... I wonder what other info that Proton is yet to disclosed on CPS engines... The only thing we know is Neo use different mappings...

waja was the first one to put CPS right? i guess they put in stupid mapping at first and didnt update it with better mappings when they released the newer CPS cars...

if engine oil caps are a universal fit... get the expensive ones.. J's Racing, spoon, ralliart etc etc... usually made from metal one...but u sure its coming from there ah? abit of an odd problem man...

if not sure it will fit... ask the shops.. ..if they say can fit... ask if cannot fit can return or not.. if cannot...just walk away. or ask to test pasang on the spot... if fits...pay n walk away

actually I was thinking looking for one online.. that's why I asked about the fitting... tongue.gif

Since there's a trace coming from the oil cap, I'd say that's the culprit... actually it's either that or the gasket.. but since the cover gasket is just recently changed, I dont think it'll leak again in such a short period... but judging from the oil traces, it looks similar to the old case gasket leaks too except this time it might be on the initial stage so the mess is not that big.... but i want to try new oil cap first, should be cheaper right... the leaks from the cap actually been some time (as far as I can remember it's from the day I get my car) because the cap doesn't have o-ring (and it's OEM design)... i even heard that some people actually changed their cap to solve the problem... and when asked around, it's pretty common on CPS... it's weird for me too... but the stain is always there...

anyway, it could be the 4L oil is just too much too... even though the oil never dried up on me yet, but the mess it creates in the engine bay is unbearable... and at one point when the gasket actually leaks, it cost me one inhibitor switch too... lucky got warranty... sweat.gif

just changed gasket? its possible that the leak is caused by incorrect fittings of the gasket...suggest getting that checked...

anyway...if its a common cps problem...and others solved it by changing oil cap... check wat theyre using and get the same one lor. at least u know that has a possiblity of working and will fit tongue.gif

Incorrect fittings is in my list too... plan to get it checked on next service which is not that far away...
