I am currently using OS 3.2.1 and the ipad had been jailbroken.
Just now I try to reset to factory setting using the reset function in the setting.
And after that it just frozen on the apple logo and 2 white lines on the right side.
What should I do? I can see the screen black out and backs to apple logo mode every 10 minutes and nothing change.

you cant use reset to factory setting bro.
you need to restore it back to normal

try to see if you connect it to iTunes what happens. Else you need to set the iPad to DFU mode and restore the iOS.

I try to press both button and let go the wake/ sleep button then plug the USB cable,
I manage to get 2 types of screen, first is with the iTunes and USB logo, another is black screen.
Both can be detected by iTunes and ask me to restore and update,
However after downloading 551.4 mb of iOS , after a while a small window opo up and say cannot connect to server or network loss.
I always struck at that moment and cannot do anything.

Added on February 12, 2011, 9:52 amI manage to restore and upgrade to 4.2.1, I think I am using the blank screen method. After I came back from breakfast it is ok! Now the problem is waiting for activation, this may take sometime
