Hey guys, i recently encountered a problem with my N900's LCD screen - the screen is blank but i can still feel feedback when i press the screen.

Out of curiosity, i decided to disassemble my N900 unit to check if the LCD ribbon was loose. Apparently after securely placing it back and switching on my N900 again, i experienced the same problem - a blank screen.

Has anyone here repaired/replaced their N900's LCD screen before?

If so, how much does it cost? Mine is an original AVAXX unit but the warranty's expired so no luck for me to get it done free.

Urm, I have had experience of sending it for repair from normal shop...It's just bad & utter waste of money =.=
Either get it done by Original Nokia Center or don't tongue.gif

Yeah. I suppose so.

Well, the Nokia Care Centre told me i could pick up my N900 with a new LCD screen replacement for just rm280.

Pretty reasonable, i would say considering the time taken to actually replace the LCD which barely takes...15 minutes.
