desmond...i might get the sgs2 bro...sensation is great and all..but still curious about sgs2...

shud i sell my htc or keep it and get sgs2 as well?

that way i can make 1 to 1 comparison...how?

You can check out the SGS2 at the roadshow at MV next week to make comparison. I am quite sure you will feel that the SGS2 will feel more responsive as compared to the Sensation.

I am not living in denial to admit that the SGS2 is probably better in terms of speed and screen resolution, but i have come to terms with my Sensation and have not lost faith in HTC that they will unlock the bootloader and also further optimize Sense 3.0 and the battery drain. Also, i have my own personal reservations for the Samsung brand.

Although i'm owning SGS2, but these few days have chance to try Sensation (my friend pass his phone to me for games & software installation), cant deny that the qHD resolution is very nice especially when playing games, the images are much sharper than SGS 2

EVO 4G ain't comin here. Specs too similar to Sensation. It will only cause internal canibalisation.

Added on June 13, 2011, 2:38 amBesides I think the 4 G specs is different as compared to our country.

The appearance of both phones(EVO 3D and EVO 4G+) look very similar and look like sisters.

If Sensation and Evo 4G+(or EVO 3D) can land on different carriers, I think it's possible that both phones be launched.

QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ Jun 13 2011, 10:01 AM)
lol korea uses CDMA. that phone won't come here
*
Of the three carriers in korea ( SKT, KT, LG U+), only LG U+ uses CDMA. If EVO 4G+ is a variant of EVO 3D(just minus 3D function which has very limited market now), then a global version would be on the market too.

Just read the sensation's review on gsmarena, is the 'death grip' a serious issue? Or just fairly noticeable...

Thanks for the tips on the Swype above, manage to download and get it working just now, just set the phone browser to mobile settings.

From my observation, not all Sensation device affected with so called "death grip" issue and this issue only happen to the Wifi and BT signal. I have done so many test with my Sensation and I could not replicate the issue as reported by GSM Arena on the death grip issue but I'm not sure if other Sensation owner are suffer with the death grip issue.

I think the deathgrip that is purposed by gsmarena is too bias to negative side of HTC sensation..because who would hold the phone like that..i try to hold the phone with my own comfortable way landscape and portrait ..my wifi signal does not decrease..smile.gif

Death grip issue will be same as apple iphone4 antennagate. After 1-2 months no one will remember or talk about it anymore.
I don't have a sensation but reading the review and watching the video, geez first thing that came to me is a non issue as who will be holding their phones such way to use. Just making a mountain out of a mini molehill
