I do own both RGs from previous releases. And so far, the promotional pictures tell the truth about what of their capability and what,s not. We can look at MS-06 for examples, the promotional pics clearly shown that the kit cannot bend their body to the extend to do the kneeling pose just like MG. All I can say, MS06 is way better from the RX78-2 even both kits got same skirt problems.

I still don't think those Aile Strike's pics were taken from PG and MG, maybe we need someone who can read japs to translating it. Too bad my wife's at work, if not I could ask her to translate it for me.

Hope Strike will got better looks in RG treatment with more detailing parts. Just my two cents.

Wow... really? I just order both RG RX78-2 and Zaku. Still considering whether to order RG Aile Strike. But from the look of the preview on RG RX 78 and Zaku, they look great for lazy ppl like me who lazy to do painting, lining... yet still have great detail.
*

Mine just stay standing without fancy pose. The details on both kits are awesome. Not sure about others, but my RG Zaku's hand is better than RX's that always droppin off, and weapons he (Zaku) holds is firm and nice. The only problem for RG Zaku is his sideskirt. The only pose for my RG zaku is like this:

i do have RG RX-78-2..
it's very good kit if u treat ur kits as a.. model kit.. not a toy.. very detailed kit even without lining.. thumbup.gif
the stickers are really cool too.. only the ones at its back & the copper-chromes at its arm/leg joints tend to peel overtime..
*
Agreed, it's a kit, not toys. Because I have much fun playing of RX-78-2 from SCM Banpresto. As for the chrome stickers, I just painted it with bronze color.

Err, it's Aile Strike right? So i think the aile unit is provided as well.

Yo, is Banpresto SCM gundam come with detail decals like RG? I am actually newbie in Gundam, used to collect a few MG and HG but stop it many years ago. I am buying RG because I like the size and detail.

No la, just plain basic color only. here's the album, the only best thing about this is posing. I bet Robot Damashii version (beside the massive accessories given), can't do the pose like SCM does. If you like the decal-ed version, you should pick SHCM Pro version, or Robot damashii's and then put some waterslide decals for 1/144 on it.

the ball joints is so small until i think it is impossible to repair myself  sweat.gif

If that's the case, you just need a tiny rod inserted in both ends of the broken part before superglue it.

I'd rather Bandai spend their technology on making a kit more accurate to the lineart, more intricate designs, and more flexible articulation without sacrificing sturdiness. Lighting is cool but how often does one turn it on?

come to think of it, it's not really that bad since it'll barely cost you 100 bucks. given that no impulse buys are included laugh.gif

but I'm not sure myself how would it be for the RG Aile Strike. since it has extra parts (as in the Aile Striker Pack) compared to the RG RX-78 & RG Zaku, would it exceed the RM100 line? hmm.gif
*
I think the price should be around RG Zaku, since it's stated 1820JPY (after the discount) at amiami, don't know how much will it be once it reached our shores. Maybe somewhere around RM90-RM120. The only minus for the looks for now that it has no color variation like the previous two.

Thanks ascentic. Aiyaaaa, with no color variation, the Strike looks plain to me. sad.gif

MG RX78 2.0 has the vents on the mouthpiece.

Seriously, MG RX78 2.0 is a masterpiece if you can overlook the retro design which isn't everybody's cup of tea. My only two complaints (very minor, really) is the puny backpack thrusters which are hardly visible and the rear ankle guards which tend to pop out very easily.

Dont' know why, up till now I don't buy RX-78-2 2.0, maybe t's just too plain without panel lines . OYW and KA are done for me.
