Just wonder if GP01 is going to receive the V2.0 treatment, I wonder would GP02 and GP03 does?
Anyhow, just wanna know anyone has "invested" in the recent PG Strike Freedom, I'm planning to get one, maybe mid of this year. For those who bought one, anything to share?

Ever wonder why Bandai show pics of MG and PG when they are trying to sell a RG model??
Haven't bought a RG RX-78 or RG MS-06, who got, please give some comment.

I really hope that's the RG pics too...and the captions are pointing out comparisons like...'Amazing posability! Just like MG!'; 'Obscenely overpriced; just like PG!'...lol...but even if those aren't the RG pics...they prob put them there for comparison...which means the RG will prob have the same degree of flexibility etc. What I'm curious about is...will they market it as just the Strike...or Aile-Strike, Launcher...etc? Will earlier HG strike packs be compatible with this?

And seeing as how they are doing popular gundams...will we have to wait long for an RG Unicorn...that can transform??? Jeng Jeng Jeng!!!

reehdus, let's just hope that when it's launch, it will contain all the backpacks that it has. (Crossing Fingers)

My mum keeps telling not to play with kids toys since I'm in my 30s (just stepped into this realm today, blush.gif ), I normally will reply her, "Models are not toys, kids can't really appreciate the stuff I bought!"

hmm.gif can think about it~im just going to start collect gundam model...another question is mg figure hard to fix??necessary to have those tools to fix them???i fix before kamen rider mg figure but i never use any tools icon_question.gif
*
That's depend on how detail you want your Gunpla, if by just assembly it satisfy you, then you don't have to do anything at all, but once you started to try out penal lining and painting, you will found that you need all soft of tools. I would suggest that even for a pure assembly, the most basic is the cutter, sanding paper, cement, pen knife, penal lining pen and maybe some Gundam Marker for touch up.

oo maybe get a cutter 1st seems important~planning on getting a char zaku 2.0..do u have 1???hard to assemble???need any painting??
*
Yeap~but be careful cause not any cutter will do the job, Tamiya has several type of cutters to do the job, Modeler's Side Cutter should serve you well as beginner, but you can always get 1 that sells at those electronic component shop, they have the same thin blade and sharp enough to cut through the plastic.

I don't have a Char Zaku V2.0, cause I'm more a Gundam fan boy, muahahaha..... brows.gif But as long as you follow the instruction manual, you should found that it is not that hard at all to assemble the model. Painting side, all depend on you. For me, I will paint my model cause after painting it, cause it will looks more realistic if you paint it the "right" way. Take some time to browse through the internet for some Gundam modelers gallery and take a look at their work and you will know the difference between a painted model and one that doesn't. smile.gif

rclxms.gif since u have a zaku II 2.0 may i know is there any different between char and other zaku's??? or just color?? do u paint the zaku??without paint will look bad??? rolleyes.gif
*
Sorry Parody, I can't help but to answer this question. smile.gif

Ok, Char's Zaku II is MS-06S (The red one) while the normal Zaku II are MS-06F (The green one), between the 2 model, the most significant different between them are their back pack and there are 5 extra thruster at the calf of MS-06S.

No need to be sorry, my friend. I just thought pictures speak better than words.

And uhh.... if you wanna answer the question, please be thorough. Your answer still is missing the leg cannons and the hangar cart.

He also asked about the differences of ALL the other Zaku IIs as well.

*
Ah.....my mistake, I only thought of the MS-06S and MS-06J, didn't thought of the others too, but if is like that shouldn't we told him to check wiki, cause there are version A~Z of Zaku II.

Anyhow, here's the wiki link if brother tanwenbing wish to know more.

Anyone knows where does Alex goes? He used to have a shop at the basement of Lowyat, the name of the shop should be HGS, opposite the Hong Kong Restaurant - 港飲港食.

Last I saw, the guy who used to jaga shop with Alex (the fatty with spec, is it?) has shifted to a small lot in BTS' IT floor. But now IT floor also tutup already. No I dunno where they went.

But last I visit, there aren't any Gundam kits for sale. Mostly toys/figurines.

It's LG, not basement. But LY do have basement floors, but those are reserve for parking. biggrin.gif
*
Hahaha.....Ya, that time Alex was sort of obese a bit and always sleeps in the shop. brows.gif

Ah.....The figure guy(Can't recall his name, tongue.gif ), I use to purchase all my miniature Gundam with him. Didn't notice that he got a shop a BTS ler. During the HGS time, all Gundam Kits are actually Alex's stock.

We can see that all current RGs are actually based on the models who had PG before. So, we can assume that Bandai won't risk themselves of making a RG that doesn't has a PG to reference for, cause that would means R&D all the way from the basic again, they don't wanna waste that kinda money.

Took photos for my MG Unicorn on Wednesday night for practice purpose. Among nearly 50 photos these 4 are the one I consider can show. blush.gif

The last photo was taken by after clicking the shutter button I move the phone closer to the model, the outcome is like sudden zoom-in in some anime. tongue.gif
Hope you guys like it. biggrin.gif

U airbrush your unicorn? Nice shading.
*
Yeap, airbrushed the whole thing, I used Mr. Color Character Blue for the shading cause wanna give a icy feel.

From your pictures' quality, i'm disappointed with the N8's Carl Zeiss optics. Nice trick on the last shot though.  rclxms.gif
Yes, very nice shading. Subtle but noticeable.  notworthy.gif

*
Hehehe.....don't blame the N8, maybe is my setting problem.

Thank you all for the complement. blush.gif

I'll rather keep those so call clear edition un-touch if I really bought, cause you can sort of consider these clear edition as limited edition cause they only come out for a short period. Maybe in the future you can sell it with higher price. I'm not a big fan of clear edition Gunpla, cause I airbrush them and if I paint the clear part, it sort of lost it's meaning. Just my 2cent.
