About the swap, do we swap only the motherboard itself, or the whole box content?

in that case, i think i will just swap my p67a-ud7 when the time comes instead of setting it up and dismantling everything within 2-3 months.

initial ETA was april or may before the swap is possible. do you think it will be earlier since intel is releasing the new chipset to the manufacturers faster than estimated?

If I continue using SATA 2 port, will it cause any damage to my HDD or data corruption?

Hi, does this mean i need to dismantle everything leaving just the mobo for the swap? That would be very troublesome for me. Can i just bring the CPU and the dealer do the swap for me?

I don't think i even have the mobo box anymore. Would there be a problem? i do have the receipt though.

It is depending on you; you can choose to dismantle yourself or let the dealer dismantle for you...

We encourage you to bring the full pack, but if you have lost the box or so, it is still acceptable...

Hope this is clear for you =]

GA-P67A-UD7-B3 (and others) are on official Gigabyte web.
UD7 and UD5 remain Rev.1.0 and the rest are Rev.1.1.
