2nd leg got chance to win? We need to thrash Wigan this week end to regain striker's composure. Finishing really disgusting today.

Lampard really poor this game, give away possesion too easily.

No point we blame ref. We had our chances , just that we didn't take them

drogba & torres didn't seem to partner well with each other. just my 2 cents.

Well, besides the penalty call and the line clearance i don't see really any threat. Was a tight game though, only entertain by an oscar nominee really.

bosingwa was bad, lampard was bad, i hate the commentator and torres did not dive. valencia blocked his trailing leg. please dont take the commentator's view as final. thanks.

denied two clear penalties for me, as usual, the standard of uefa refs. pfft.

i think we played better when malouda and anelka came on, anelka sure turned on the pace and the united defenders were having problems with malouda. ashley's crosses were terrible and there is no link up play with him from the midfielders. yes, drogba and torres definitely has no chemistry/teamwork yet.

the good thing is we're only down by a goal. we're still in the game, score on goal and we're level.

Fergie thumbs up for Van Der Sar not kicking goal kick tongue.gif

Bosingwa really disappointing when defending. Hope he practice defending more, need him for 2nd leg.

forget the pen. based on that second half performance we didn't deserve anything. poor, poor, poor display compounded by lampard missing an open goal and the whole team playing like they didn't care that it was their last chance to win something this season. disagreed with the drogba sub entirely, he was causing evra all sorts of problems down that right. we had one amazing chance in lampard, and another in ramires. both unmarked, all they had to do was put it in. utd had one chance and they took it. credit to them for making it count. not looking forward to the second leg as i still feel our midfield is in disarray. how many times did they give the ball away? i honestly lost count. like it or not, lampard was the chief culprit again. however those around him didn't fare much better. nobody deserved more than a 5/10 rating for me in this game, except for maybe didier. at least he put his heart into it.

I watched the full match by stream, unluckily, my connecetion was very slow and it lagging all the way. I can't watch the match properly.

Our midfield had a shameful performance. Torres Drogba combo is good. I don't know what happen to our marking on Rooney's goal. Terrible defending.

As HumbleCMY said, the finishing are all disgusting. Lampard should score that one and Torres was a bit unfortunate today.

I still believe we have 2nd leg to win. Come on! We need to buck up our midfield. MIDFIELD. Do something Carlo.

An advantage to Man Utd, but Chelsea still got chance since it's only 1 goal deficit.

excuse me....torres' leg tangled with valencia's....it was torres who made contact, that was valencia's standing foot.

first one no excuses. stonewall peno. u get some, u lose some.

1 goal deficit but you have to come to OT so it's actually a 10 goal deficit.

yeah. lampard and bosingwa deserves a 1/10 today. how many of their passes went back to united? countless. bosingwa is terrible at defending but a few of his crosses were pretty decent. non came from ashley. lampard provided nothing in the game today. almost no creative passes, his corners were bad and he also gave away tons of possessions.

i think torres is getting better. its just half time. we have another 90 minutes to get into the semis.
