Hah! I noticed that girl too Hmph, still a painful weekend for me. Feeling so bad when I see our rivals were talking bad about us. It's a real test for us, for being a true blue.

When I saw the news that Carlo confirm there are two players on fire, I was expecting Ramires and Terry.
Ramires has been our best player for 2-3 games. The speed of his improvement is totally impressive. I don't know how much he paid his effort to play first team, but I can sure that he deserve first eleven now. |

Ramires-Essien-Lampard.
I was hoping Josh to replace Lampard or Essien. Wow, Malouda new hair cut make him looks like Gyan |

Looks like we're having some pressure there.
I just love formation talk, let's start with my preferred formation for tonight game. -----------------cech--------------- bosinwa--ivanovic--terry--ashley -------ramires-------Josh-------- ---------------lampard------------- -Anelka---------------------------Malouda -----------------torres---------------- Kalou and Malouda are given the job of running out wide, providing some width play. Of course, our full back, bosingwa and ashley provide some width from back too. Kalou to make an impact as a super sub for Malouda or Anelka. Josh is unlikely to start, but Essien to replace the place. I don't start Drogba since we need some wing play from our team, I just can't fit him in right now. It really sounds that I am crying some width our team, but yeah, we need them badly. This post has been edited by ericling: Feb 22 2011, 02:46 PM |

It always comes hard for Torres. Well, if he's on top, he might scored 1. But give him some time I would say.
I am watching Skysport with live streaming, I finally know what Ray Wilkins do to our squad. His analysis in half time was important. It's about our midfield four. We're always not in a good shape, always leaving a big space when opponent counter attack, or leaving a big hole in the middle of the pitch. All our players are good, Torres had a few good runs. Anelka was impressive, awesome finish. My only critic will be Malouda, he've to be more careful with his kick and decision making. Most of our attacking possession lost by him. |

Oh my god, this is champions league, not league. Why get a yellow so easily?
Btw, Malouda should walk faster when referee give him the first warning. This post has been edited by ericling: Feb 23 2011, 05:31 AM |

Wow, our next match is against Manchester United in Stamford Bridge!
I think Carlo is going to use the same squad but I hope he will drop Malouda for Zhirkov. Zhirkov had some fast break up and can stretch Manchester United defense.I am sad to say that Malouda is kinda slow these days. Essien should be benched but it's against Manchester United,I can't find any experienced player to replace his place. I don't want Ramires to play in holding midfield because he's doing well in attack. Our full backs weren't do any impressing attacking threat, but a good defense line by us I would say.Impressive. Drogba was disappointing again A: Torres+Drogba B: Drogba+Anelka C Torres+Anelka While Drogba is not playing good now, I will go for C. Just hoping Anelka can be more consistent with his performance. On our team photo, I think Torres was unbalance and going to fall down? This post has been edited by ericling: Feb 23 2011, 06:14 PM |

Zonal marking's review on our champion league game. Worth a read. I am now worry about our midfield. It's looks like out shaped Essien was good, but Carlo should remind him that he's playing a holding midfielder but not an attacking midfielder. Sometime he caught too high on the pitch and leaving a big hole in our midfield. Mikel can do defensive midfield easily but his tracking and tackling skill is worrying. Zhirkov deserve a start against MU than Malouda. This post has been edited by ericling: Feb 24 2011, 01:26 PM |

Our management hears us!
http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0...2301467,00.html QUOTE After a day off on Wednesday it was back in on Thursday as the squad tested their accuracy in training. As you can see Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou were on target as they serve a reminder to Carlo Ancelotti of their abilities in front of goal. We had a lot of shots, but only few of them are on targets. Good training at the right time i would say. Added on February 26, 2011, 3:44 pmSuddenly, our management got all their bulbs lighted. Sturridge definitely on fire. Can't wait to see he to pair our deadliest forward line.
Watched MU first half, their passes aren't good, but when they're dangerous every time they have the ball. Their players are hardworking and their movements are good. They are not really good in holding the ball though. Again, Mikel can't start. Ramires, Essien, Lampard to start but Essien should do better. |

QUOTE(krk24 @ Feb 27 2011, 11:33 AM) he brouht .22M gun WTF!...he is protecting from whom? or he is a criminal figure? Oh well,I totally disagree with your comment on end of the ashley era. That's harsh. We don't talk like that.after this sure he will BOOOOeD by chelsea & opponets fans.....better give david luiz to play alongside terry, iva & bosingwa....thats end of ashley era! Added on February 27, 2011, 11:35 am if carlo...give some 90 mins match to him..i'm sure he will be our current goalscorer...but carlo dont realised that!....after he loan-out ONLY praising him! wasted rite!...otherwise we will gain more wins.... Think in a positive side, he won't have chance to show off his talent if we never loan him out? Carlo don't sell him off and loan to other team because of he wanted to see how he perform in other team. And yes, he prove that he can play first team next season. |

QUOTE(madfag @ Feb 27 2011, 01:25 PM) krk24 memang always overwhelm things one la. and besides, teams that play against bolton deploy different tactics compared to teams that play against Chelsea. Yeah, sometimes I don't like people saying Chelsea buy a 50m player that haven't score one but loaned out a player that already score 4 goals in 5 matches.Football is not just simple as that.lets say, if i were Newcastle, i'd trying to get 3 points playing against Bolton, and if i were playing Chelsea, a top 4 club, of course i'd try to play more defensively, hit on the counter to get 3 points. obviously the earlier scenario would mean the strikers gets time alone with only 1 defender compared to a few defenders for the later scenario. By the way, I can't wait to see Luiz and Torres play again! This post has been edited by ericling: Feb 27 2011, 02:38 PM |

From yesterday Carlo's interview, he said Anelka has space to roam in away games. Against MU is in SB so I think it will be Drogba and Torres pair.
We got a good result against Copenhagen with 442, but. Our midfield was horrible. We are lucky got away with that. Always out shaped, if we don't correct it, MU will surely punish us. But yeah, I am with kucingmainan. Best line up we can field for tonight. |

Iva should've hit it fast and earlier. Good goalkeeping by VDS though.
We played not bad, but not entirely good too. We should break down their attack faster, or else long shots cost us. Nani and Evra flank was dangerous, we have to do a lot better. |

So happy to grab 3 points against Manchester United. So happy!
I don't see MU actually "dominated" us in first half, they just had more chances. We played well too. I don't know why everyone was blaming our team's performance after the first half ended. Luiz scored! Brilliant goal, thought he would shoot it with his left foot but he was calm and he shot it with his right. Aweesome goal. My heart almost explode, luckily I don't have asthma, of else, I think I would've faint. Exciting match. My heartbeat reach around 100+ per minute Neither Ramires, Lampard, Luiz is the man of the match, I will give the award to Carlo Ancelotti. The champions league master showed his true manager level. The introduction of Zhirkov and Drogba were awesome. Zhirkov won us a penalty, and almost got us a goal. Carlo also did some tactical changes in second half, make the pace of the game faster. Why there's no one praising Essien? Fantastic performance. OUTSTANDING. He did his job, he missed only FOUR passes in 54 passes. Amazing. Terry and Malouda were shaky, Terry keep on giving away the ball while Malouda slowed down our game. When Malouda got the ball, he run inside, but when he run wide, he got no speed. He's totally out form. Anelka wasn't really effective there but did a few good movements to keep the ball. Torres is still a big threat forward, look at how stress was MU defense line. I would say let Anelka play next game, for around 45 minutes, and sub in Drogba. Drogba need more rest. Malouda definitely have to drop into the bench for the next game. We still looking clueless sometime when constructing the attack, hope we can correct it . It's Blackpool next match and they're without their best player, Charlie Adam. Come on Chelsea! This post has been edited by ericling: Mar 2 2011, 06:28 PM |
